At the end of 19th Century, dark forces shade the world once again. A brave agent, experienced in exorcism and combat, comes to face the oncoming evil, and fight loathsome supernatural monsters and horrific spawns of black magic. It's your quest, in a role of a hard boiled combat, to face a dark warlock of the ancient times and stop his plan to capture powerful artifact of black magic.

Larva Mortus is an action horror game about hunting of supernatural monsters in a dark atmosphere. Full of undead, terrifying and demonic nightmares. With a superbly creepy orchestral soundtrack.

  1. Great Game Concept!

    Pretty fun game with a great concept! It's basically a monster hunter, twin stick RPG shooter with a slight storyline. Mouse and keyboard work great for controlling the game! It's worth the $5.00 I just paid on sale, but not sure I would have been happy paying the full $20.00. Although, this is my second copy I've bought since it was released! lol :-)

    PROS
    + You get to name your character.
    + You can change the difficulty before each mission.
    + Has strong RPG character building and no level cap.
    + Weapons and items are added to your armory after each successful mission.
    + You take all of your weapons and items on every mission.
    + Keeps good records of your character stats including kills and deaths.

    CONS
    - Game has some storyline, but is mostly randomly generated missions.
    - Limited ammo, but you find ammo all the time.
    - Slow reload times on all of the weapons.
    - Can only level character stats during missions.
    - Randomly generated missions with limited texture sets become repetitive.
    - The game can become a bit boring and tedious at times.
