Very good

It really adds alot to the Eastern Asia region, turning it into a more intresting region and gives the game more replay value.

This first expansion for HOI IV brings a great variety of new features that will please many people. Very good value for your money.
National focus trees for China, enhanced focus trees for Japan and Germany, decisions and missions using your political power, refitting of older or captured equipment, new general traits, chains of command, use of command power to enhance operations on the ground, stability and war support replace national unity in a deeper mechanic, acclimatization of tropps to cold or hot climate, etc...
This DLC is a bit all over the place geographically: it adds content to China, Japan, and Germany. In my experience, all the added content is good. Unfortunately, it is all packaged together, so that in order to experience Germany's new content, you must also buy China's, even if you're not really interested in China's.
I think this DLC is still worth having, even if you're only interested in parts of it like me. Especially if you can buy it during a sale.
