Originally released in 2005, Fahrenheit (known as Indigo Prophecy in North America) was a breakthrough in interactive narrative, teetering between the worlds of cinema and gaming while also embracing them, carving its own unique genre in the entertainment landscape. This newly remastered edition features updated graphics, full controller support AND is based on the uncut/uncensored international version of the game.

With a rich multilayered narrative, innovative presentation, and a chilling musical score by famed Hollywood composer Angelo Badalementi, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered serves as the definitive version of the supernatural murder mystery and (re)introduces the groundbreaking title to old and new fans alike.

Key Upgrades:
• High-definition Graphics — All of the in-game textures have been meticulously recreated in HD for desktop.
• Full Controller Support — Support for Sony and Microsoft controllers for desktop platforms.
• Live Graphics Comparison — Players can switch between the updated visuals and the original art assets with the touch of a button.
  • Interactive Drama — An intuitive control scheme and spectacular split-screen presentation complement the game's mysterious noir narrative.
  • Extensive Replayability — With branching dialog and multiple endings, each playthrough of the game yields a different outcome.
  • Multiple Characters — Take control of the narrative through four different playable characters, each illuminating a different perspective of the story.
  • Fully Voiced Script — Every line from the extensive script is voiced by professional actors in English, French, German, and Spanish.
  • Cinematic Score — Fahrenheit features a fully orchestrated [check] score composed by Angelo Badalamenti, famous for his extensive work with director David Lynch.
  • Uncut version of the game — Unlike the original North American release,
  • Remastered contains all of the game's original scenes, uncensored and uncut.

  1. So good!
    by S4MURAi, Greece - Jan 30th 2018

As of writing this review I'm playing this game on a MacOS High Sierra 10.13.3 on iMac late 2015/ 2,8 i5 / 8GB / Intel Iris Pro 6200 with everything on high and maxed out and of course it runs great.

I remember playing this back on my PSX. I just saw it here on sale, didn't even know they re-released it or anything. And it all came back to me. One of the first ever games that had this great story-telling feeling that Telltale gives you nowadays and which I really like to pass the time with a game without having to go through hoops to have fun after a long days work.

If you like adventures and a solid story. You're here!
Dated graphics of course cuz this is super old but all the 90s kids will appreciate this game if not for the memories.

  2. Good remaster
    by PYTON, Poland - Aug 29th 2017

It's like interactive movie. The story is rich. Game has high quality narration and good soundtrack. I feel like it's 2005 again. Really enjoyable remaster.

  3. A good classic.
    by troleibuzul, Romania - Jul 8th 2017

The game has one of the nicest stories that keep you guessing until the end with some ties to a made-up Mayan mythology, but the controls are the true antagonist of the game and, some of the QTEs are very long but good if you are looking for a quick way to sober up.

  4. Its a movie, its a game, no, a movie!
    by EJEL, Denmark - Feb 4th 2017

Yes! I liked it. Althought I could have loved it more without the supernatural stuff. But loved the dialogs, scenes, characters and crime!

  6. Not perfect, but very good!
by Top Deer, Russian Federation - Jun 20th 2016

I've played it when it was first out, in 2005, and the game turned my world upside down, I never thought that interactive movies could be so exciting! From today's point of view, the graphics is outdated, and there are too much QTEs, but the game is still pretty interesting, after all it is the spiritual predecessor of Heavy Rain.

  10. Interesting improvement
by Martin Jovanchevski, Macedonia - Dec 24th 2015

Played this when it was out, I think i was 2005, and loved it immensely. Feels nice to go over it again when it is better polished and with higher resolutions!

  11. Good experiments
by dolci, Russian Federation - Nov 29th 2015

If you're someone with a deep passion for storytelling experiments and noir gaming, then Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered was made for you back in 2005 and its high-quality mobile adaptation delivers the exact same experience. For others, the same inherent flaws that dogged it a decade remain alive and present.

  12. Why "interactive drama" is considered a joke.
by Challah Bread, USA - Nov 25th 2015

David Cage, the man who brought us Heavy Rain, a detective thriller that turned into a bad season of a TV show with cringy acting and boring twists, and Beyond: Two Souls, a sci-fi action thriller that turned into... I don't quite know, honestly, brings us Indigo Prophecy or Fahrenheit, depending on the region it was released in: a psychological thriller that turns into DBZ/Matrix fanfiction. All of his games have two things in common - 1. QTEs and weird movement. And 2. a story that starts out promising and devolves into utter nonsense. Now imagine graphics that haven't aged well and music from Theory of a Deadman on a PC port several years later and you've got Indigo Prophecy.

It's not a bad game but it's very far from a good one. You'll remember it and laugh about it so I suggest you pick it up when it's on sale and never for full price.

  14. Awesome Start, Bad Finish
    by flameryuuji, Poland - Nov 7th 2015

Game is mostly QTEs and a little bit of walking, but it draws you in fairly quickly. QTEs sometimes get in the way of the story, but it wasn't really that bothersome. Characters are awesome, as is the soundtrack. Sadly, game was obviously rushed, because everything falls apart near the last quarter of the game. Giant plot holes, nonsensical twists, bad writing and everyone acting out of character. That's basically what you can expect near the end.
Shame, because it could be something really great.

  15. Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered
    by faussefrancois, Slovakia - Oct 9th 2015

If you want to play a movie as a game, Fahrenheit is very good choice. Creators of Heavy Rain made this game as a remastered version and I can confirm they are the best for this kind of genre. Enjoy it and play it even it is not so long (8-10 hours).
