  1. Fun game, for a while.
by Alexander Potapov, USA - Feb 23rd 2018

The game falls off after a few rounds, as you end up doing more or less the same thing over and over to beat the scenarios, deviating slightly to fulfill the fairly simple mission criteria.

  4. It's Okay
    by Ryan Villarreal1, USA - Jun 17th 2017

Ive been playing tropico since it first came out back in the early 00's. This was alright but lacks allot of the content its predicessors had. Stick to either 3 or 4.

  6. Fun!
    by dfox2014, USA - Dec 13th 2016

I'll admit I don't play this game as much as it deserves but it is certainly a fun game when I do play it. Theres always something to do with your world. Its a playful mix of city and empire building. Reminds me of Caeser IV.

  7. Improvement on Tropico 4
    by andregurov, USA - Nov 27th 2016

Not revolutionary, but evolutionary and a lot more polished than Tropico 4. But pick up the complete collection as there is a lot of DLC, some of which is quite worth playing.

    by Dubbs09, USA - Nov 24th 2016

Really enjoyed it for a while, lots to learn if you are new to the series. Still not quite mastered it even after spents tons of time reading manual and forums.

  10. Good Personality in a Game
by Grant Higgins, USA - Oct 18th 2016

It's rare a game makes me laugh, and for a city builder I genuinely enjoy all of the happenings of the world. The characters all have a very loveable personality and makes the game pretty fun. Definitely worth a pick up if on sale

  12. OK
by Clarborne, United Kingdom - Jun 17th 2016

Ok game, but it can get a little dull if your not a fan of the city building genre. If you are thinking of buying this because of the politics aspect or the military aspect but aren't interested in the city building aspect, then I would not recommend this game. The main aspect of this game is the city building aspect and this is what everything else revolves around.

  14. Great, Not Excellent
    by skeleton_fingers, Canada - Apr 5th 2016

It's a huge time-sink and the charming sense of humour goes a long way to help me enjoy it. With expansion packs taking more risks and adding in new gameplay features, it could become even better. Overall, well worth paying for but not a game I'd place in a Top 5 of the year list.

  15. It's the same as 4 but with coop
    by BlackJuice, Poland - Mar 27th 2016

It's the same game as Tropico 4, but adds a co-op feature, so if you want to play it with your friend then it's worth it to pick it up on sale.
