  1. Demo First
by Kiah Beeman, USA - Jul 6th 2015

I love this game even though I don't ever seem to accomplish much and am not 100% sure I understand what I'm doing. But it's not the right game for everyone. Make sure to demo before you buy!

  2. Appears to be simple, but takes some thought.
by Goldie Gibbs, USA - Jan 20th 2015

I really enjoy this game, every now and then I will play it through one of the "ages" and then leave it for a couple of months. It is interesting and challenging to guide the families in this game to a higher social class. I like the board game aesthetic and thinking about how hard it would have been in more ancient eras to have any kind of social mobility. If you enjoy games that involve history, strategizing, working within a dynasty, and using your imagination, you will probably enjoy this game too!

  3. Weird game
    by T'hain Esh Kelch, Denmark - Jan 9th 2015

I assume I just dont 'get it', so take that into account.

But I found it dull, very badly explained, dull to look at. And the gameplay was boring.

Essentially it is a strategy board game. You follow a family through several generations, and have to plan a few turns ahead to consider your next moves. I found it quite shallow, and plain.

  4. Board game on steroids
    by Smee, Australia - Nov 24th 2014

7 Grand Steps combines all the excitement of a strategy game, a board game, and an arcade game into one. The interface is simple but ever-evolving based on your inputs.

Like all good games, it evokes that 'just one more level' feeling, where all of sudden it's midnight and you have to work the next day but you don't want to stop playing.

  5. EH, not sure its for me
    by daisyborat, USA - Feb 21st 2014

Its ok, sort of fun at first. But after a few hours it just becomes so incredibly boring in my opinion. Seems like nothing happens when the cards drop out, and if you know which choices to make they always result in a good result, so every time they pop up, which they often do just click the same choice and you ge the same exact reward. Just not very skilled and certainly not a lot of depth. for anything less than 7.00 dollars this game is worth it. any more than that and its a huge waste, kills some time here and there. NOT A GAME TO DRAG YOU IN OR REALLY GET YOU EXCITED TO PLAY, i felt it could be so much more but for the low price it earned an extra star.

  6. Interesting
    by Xhristy, Zimbabwe - Feb 18th 2014

An enjoyable board game that makes to think and strategise a little, definately not one of those where luck is needed. But I am enjoying it.
