Incredipede Badge
Make fantastic creatures and then control them to overcome challenges and puzzles

Incredipede is a puzzle game that celebrates the vast diversity of life in the world. The game follows Quozzle, a lone Incredipede on a quest to rescue her sisters. She has a unique ability to grow new arms and legs wherever she needs them, transforming into a snake, a spider, a horse, a monkey - anything you can imagine. You can give her antlers or a tail, use nature as a blueprint or strike out in weird new directions. Control Quozzle as she learns to swing through the trees, climb sheer cliffs, dance over rivers of lava, and even soar through the air on thermal winds.

Incredipede was made by a small team headed by Colin Northway, author of Fantastic Contraption. It was written while traveling in over a dozen countries including Honduras, Turkey, Japan, and Costa Rica.

  1. Wacky and sometimes disturbing

A lot of creativity and ingenuity went into this oddball of a game. Sometimes the creations have an almost sickening effect on the eyes, but its still enjoyable. I feel as if frankenstein would have delighted in this if given the chance.

Challenging. It really tests patience when things go horribly wrong.

  2. Short but creative and challenging

There are three major levels to this game, each one divided in turn into a dozen or so more. The whole thing took me a total of about three hours. It is beautifully drawn and the puzzles are clever and challenging. A bit more variety in the main character's abilities would have been nice, but it was fun and worthwhile.
