Description

A seasonal enhancement to the Runes of Avalon series, Spooky Runes supplies tried-and-true gameplay dressed up in a Hallowe'en costume! In each of the 100+ levels, players rotate and place groups of runes in an attempt to line up three or more of the same color. It's a race against the clock to clear enough runes of each type to advance through the game! With creepy music and updated graphics, Spooky Runes will please both fans of the Runes of Avalon series and newcomers to the genre!

  1. Unique Gameplay; can get repetitive

    This is a puzzle game with gameplay I have not seen elsewhere; I find that this is a game I like best in small doses - a few levels, then doing other things, and a definite break between finishing one game and starting the next. I would definitely buy a follow-up with different levels. The main reason I am not giving it the full five stars is that the interface can get annoying and a little bit intrusive: I'd like to keep the sound effects and turn off a) the tutorial and b) the voice-overs. Otherwise, it's great.
