  2. Awesome Series!

The Eschalon series is easily one of my favorite CRPG's. The story is good, although sort of your classic, "Lost your memory, now you have to figure out who you are and in the process save the world" storyline.

The gamplay is good. I like the real time turn based, almost action rpg, aspect of it. The inventory, map and character building are sort of reminiscent of Wizardy 8, but done better in this game, in my opinion.

The graphics are OK for a CRPG and considering only one guy made it, as a developer I appreciate that.

Great game and worth the price.

  3. Very good sequel

I played this after Book I, so I got to continue following the same character. However, you don't need to have done the previous game to enjoy this one. I appreciate that this time I could play as a female, and there were more and better choices with regard to background and training. The whole game was better organized and, although I am generally a sword-wielding slasher, this time I enjoyed doing some alchemy too. One thing I liked was that in this game you can explore different kingdoms and areas of the same world. Looking forward to play the next game in the series!
