ReDrawn: The Painted Tower Collector's Edition

This game had so much potential. The graphics were excellent, the story was interesting, the music added to the atmosphere. However, the lag time between scenes was annoyingly long and as there is no map there is a great deal of back and forthing that added to my frustration. The game crashed several times. It also ends abruptly. I hoped that the extra chapter would resolve the story, but it does not. This is a remake of a much older game and there are additional chapters, which are not available.

This game is horrible. The lag time between scenes is 30 seconds or more; and then it freezes and the only way out is a hard Shutdown. AND, it captures my computer and keeps reappearing after a reboot. I finally managed to Force Quit the game, but only after several tries. To say that I'm taking this game off my Mac is an understatement.

I had played the original Drawn Painted Tower a long long time ago, and it was well done for a hidden object puzzler. This new revamp of it is visually much different, but the game itself is still very decent/fun.

Definitely try the demo first!
