Adds fun new gameplay to the Stellaris game loop. Honestly a must have as federations are very fun to play with and against.
The mega shipyard and Juggernaut that come with the DLC adds some QOL stuff to your empire management. The DLC also adds new diplomacy options which makes alliances more fun and engaging. It's worth buying.
