Description

Age of Wonders Planetfall: Premium Edition is the complete Planetfall experience and includes the Deluxe Edition Content and the Season Pass, which gives players access to three upcoming expansions and an instant reward.

Age of Wonders: Planetfall is the new strategy game from Triumph Studios, creators of the critically acclaimed Age of Wonders and Overlord series, bringing all the exciting tactical-turn based combat and in-depth 4X empire building of its predecessors to space in an all-new sci-fi setting.

Build your empire with one of six unique factions, ranging from the militant Vanguard to the dinosaur-riding Amazons and the cyborg-zombies of the Assembly. Progress through each faction’s missions using your wits, military strength and diplomacy, exploring planetary ruins and encountering other survivors as you unravel the history of a shattered civilization. Fight, build, negotiate and technologically advance your way to utopia in a deep single player campaign, on random skirmish maps, and against friends in multiplayer.

Tactical Turn-Based Sci-Fi Combat:

  • Perfect your combat strategy in intense turn-based battles that offer tactical challenges, a large cast of races, units with customizable weapons, and destructible environments.

Discover a Rich Science Fiction World:

  • Uncover the history of the fallen galactic empire as you explore lush landscapes, and experience the emergent story. Encounter NPC factions and rival houses, and discover hidden technologies that can strengthen your society and give you advantage over enemies.

Planetary Empire Building:

  • Create your own unique House, and build prosperous colonies through economic specializations of planetary sectors and governing doctrines.

Multiple Paths to Victory:

  • Achieve your end goals through conquest, diplomacy or doomsday technologies. Engrossing options with NPC factions and rival Houses won’t make the decisions easy!

A multitude of Game Modes:

  • A deep single-player story campaign alongside random map generation makes for endless replayability. Try new play styles in skirmish mode, and play multiplayer your way - online, hotseat, and asynchronous!

  1. Peak X4 game in a unique Sci-Fi setting

    This game is so much better than Age of Wonders 4 and it is more complex, more complete and has more unique factions than even Age of Wonders 3. Highly recommended!

  3. Sudden change of theme.

    Age of Wonders is a well known 4X series set in a magical land.
    Planetfall keeps most of the mechanics but shifts the theme from High fantasy to Soft Sci-Fi.

    In general if you are a fan of Age of Wonders 3 you will most likely like Planetfall.
    Additionally the price to content ratio of the Premium edition is fantastic, especially during a sale.
    There's a lot of content added by the season pass, too much to reasonably talk about in a short review.
