Addicting!

One of those "5 more minute" kind of games. Easy going with enough to do to keep you more than entertained for hours.

Ms. Holmes: The Monster of the Baskervilles
 –

Oh the accents!

Game is fun as long as you take the story tongue in cheek...and don't mind "Dick Van Dyke" accents and the American phone numbers!

Interesting way to learn

At its heart, this game is about information on typography. You learn about how writing was initially invented, how the printing press became important, and then move on to typography at its core.

Interspaced between these short snippets of information, there's a simple physics driven platforming game.

I enjoyed it. It is very simple, but does the job. Don't go into this expecting a deep platforming game though, go into it expecting an interactive Wikipedia article on typography.

Recommended for anyone looking for something relaxing and informative.

This is a gem!

I own a copy on Steam and got this unexpectedly in a bundle. This has so much from Jetset Radio Future and took is to the next level! Well worth the price!

New Yankee in Pharaoh's Court 6
 –

Run run run

If you like to run around and gather supplies, you will like the New Yankee games. The games are similar to each other, with different obstacles in them. This one has naughty pharaos, sandstorms, scorpions, sand witches and droughts to overcome. Although some levels are easy to play at gold level, some others you'll have to play a couple of times.

Europa Universalis IV: Dharma Content Pack
 –

The standard content pack for EU4

No more, no less: some nice graphics to help you immerse into the lands of India, as well as good music —three new tracks, about 12 minutes in total—. Completely optional.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
 –

It's Star Wars!

Pretty fun. Has an odd combat mechanic, but learnable. Graphics are dated, but the gameplay/story makes up for that. Has good voice acting. Characters are interesting. Music is good. Runs good on my MacBook.

Had a glitch getting it working but support helped me straighten that out.

Stellaris: Apocalypse
 –

Planet killer

More Stellaris, just souped-up and on some serious steroids. Adds new possibilities to what is already the best Civ in Space game.

Hearts of Iron IV: Waking the Tiger

The new Far East

Japan and China are biggest benefactors of this DLC, which is nice because China rarely gets much representation or respect in WWII games.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II
 –

Complicated

This is much more complicated than anything else I've played. Controls are a little weird, but learnable. Story is mysterious. Combat mechanic is odd. Visuals are dated, but gameplay/story has promise for something cool.
I'd recommend it.

Subject 13
 –

Strange little game here

This is a strange game with clunky controls. I don't trust that robotic voice. Puzzles are different. Music is repetitive. Visuals are ok, but not great. I'm having some bugs with the mouse wanting to double click when I single click, but it's not game breaking...yet.
Being a fan of adventure puzzle games, I'm curious to see where this goes and what happened to Subject13.

Cool Info

This is a neat game. While actual gameplay is basic platformer with a few bugs, the typography trivia is really cool. However, I get the feeling this has been translated from a different language as the info pages have spelling and grammatical errors. Music is interesting. Graphics are nice and seem to change/advance as you progress through levels/history. Overall a neat little game.
Side note: gameplay is pretty basic, if your looking for a good platformer, this is *not* it. If you're an information junkie and would like an overview of the history of typography (and dont really care about gameplay mechanics), than go ahead and try it.
