Torchlight
 –

it not a rpg but a dungon crawler.. but then who cares.

Its like OMG super polished game but bit repetitive. Sound, music and grafikk is merged in to nice package of dungon adventure.

So is this game worth 20 buck? H*ll yeah.

Brilliant

Absolutely loved this game. Very challenging puzzles and tasks with stunning visual and audio.

The characters are all likeable - even the bullies and the storyline is superb!

I had no issues with mouse interractions at all, unlike the review above. Works perfectly.

Highly recommended - you'll love it.

TA Knockoff

Very similar to the old Total Annihilation in skirmish mode without some of the options. Has the advantage of running under OS X and on intel processor. Price is right.

Great Game but not for Snow Leopard

Some criticize the "2D graphics" but I find them much warmer and more interesting than the polygon-styled 3D graphics in many newer games. There is a real intensity and inteligence to this game. The vehicles and characters are authentic and move and react in very realistic ways. The scenarios are challenging and truly interactive. Different strategies result in different results. However, the one issue I have is that since upgrading to Snow Leopard the sequencing logic does not work?so only a few scenarios are accessible and they will not progress to other scenarios, as intended. I'm hoping there will be a patch or revision.

Pinball Yeah!
 –

Yeah!

This game has several tables, although the Classic one needs to be unlocked, and I have yet to figure out how to do so. The pirate game is fun and intricate. The Pub one is simpler, but has special "woozy" effects that may be unpleasant. The AI one reminds me a bit of Tron; it is not too complicated itself, but can be used to enter other tables.
I bought it at $8 rather than the $3 sale price, but it is worth it.

The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom Gold Edition

Okay, basic and fun

It isn't that bad, very simple and fun. It has potential but it is what it is just a very very simple fun game.

Loved it!

I am using a 13 inch MacBook Pro with 2.4ghz processor and it ran fantastically.Ok, at some points, it can get a little or a lot laggy, especially if you haven't turned off your computer in a while, but most of the time it was still very playable and enjoyable. It is a shame that you can't replay core memories, so every time you want to, you have to start a brand new game. Other than that and the DRM, I would recommend to all of my friends.

It is a fun game. I really enjoy the game. Only complaint is that I can't use my Logictech joystick. The game work great on my iMac.

Marooned 2 - Secrets of the Akoni
 –

Improved graphics & puzzles, but pretty short

I really enjoyed the first "Marooned", and was happy to see the sequel come out. The graphics are better in this one, and the puzzles are a little different(which is good!), but it was pretty short. I downloaded the demo, but bought the game before I finished the demo. All in all, I probably finished it in around 2 hours, and while that seems pretty short, it was "only" $9.95, which is half of what the first game cost. I would still say it was worth the money.

Fun, but short

I liked this game a lot, as it is somewhat different from normal HO games. The puzzles were interesting, and different, but not killer hard. Yeah, the main character was somewhat annoying, but overall the game was good, except that it ended too soon. Of course, it was only $9.95, so it was worth the money.

Aqua Park Tycoon

Terrible

If you want to throw your money away, buy this horrible game, almost everything is cool in Demo, but after downloading this, you shall se that this game is to short and you stop having fun after 2 hours of playing, the windows version its to much better, and im talking that the Zoo Tycoon is a 100000000000 times better than this trash,

Great Game

Fantastic game. To the user who is having problems with scoping... IF you are using a Magic Mouse, 'that' is the problem NOT the game. Continue using Left Mouse Click for scoping and q to fire OR purchase a cheap regular 2 button mouse (scoping works fine... it's the magic mouse... really!) OR try a free magic mouse programming tool like magic prefs to assign a left tap as a left click. Over all, This game ROCKS! My only problem... I can't get it to recognize my iShockX game pad... but as keyboard layout is programmable it's not a BIG issue... but still an issue none the less.

Heartwild Solitaire: Book Two

5 Star Card Game

This is one of the very few games I play where I turn up the volume. The music is absolutely beautiful. The graphics are gorgeous, and combined with the music a very fun and relaxing way to spend time. The game is easy: merely clearing the board by clicking on cards either one higher or lower in sequence. Every so often there are special games where you remember a layout and repeat it. Good for the ole brain cells. Oh, and I forgot that there is a love story if you choose to read it. I don't, but love love love the game itself. Very highly recommend it.
