Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction - Insurgency DLC
 –

Installation FAILED

I bought the DLC Pack over 3 weeks ago and Ubisoft has stopped responding to my request for help. Every attempt to install the DLC Pack results in an "Installation Failed" error. The files have been installed int he proper locations, but since the installer fails, I never get to enter my activation code so the game doesn't recognize the new content.

Two Worlds II
 –

A Great Alternative To Oblivion

I have to say i was really impressed by the graphics running fluid on a i7 imac with a radeon 4850 graphics card. The game runs in the 27" imac's native resolution of 2560x1440, so the detail is impressive. The game reminds very much of oblivion, so i think most RPG fans will be pleased. Buy this game if you are into RPG it's one of the few osx games that really push the graphics on your mac. Now if only Bethesda could release Skyrim on Mac later this year.....

Dangerous High School Girls In Trouble

Disappointing

Beautiful and unique but nonsensical and tedious, much like the characters and dialogue!

Two Worlds II

Cool Graphics Runs Silky Smooth on high end Mac

The graphics in the game are absolutely stunning. The game runs silky smooth on a high end new mac with an i7. Runs especially well on a CustoMac system. Just started playing, but so far game play is great, and I have heard everything is great for an RPG except the model faces, story, and dialog.

Those reviews were right, those things were bad but everything else makes up for it. Because of these things the game falls short of being a hit.

Machinarium

a wealth of detail, atmosphere, drama, and humour. some really clever puzzles, and a merciful, inbuilt help feature; all wrapped in a love story.....does it get any better than this?

Nightmare Adventures: The Witch's Prison
 –

Excellent!

The game style is quite unique in tone. Straight Adventure - no H0G scenes. There is a puzzle at every turn. Nothing hair pulling but attention is required, lots to do, and the story is curious to say the least. The atmosphere is gloomy and creepy, but the game's author has a sense of humor as well. I quite enjoyed this game and recommend it.

Check vs Mate
 –

Doesn't seem to boot with 10.6.7

I've tried it on a C2D MacBook Pro and Core i5 iMac both running 10.6.7 and the game doesn't boot. No error message, nothing.

[Editor's Note: Move the game to the Applications folder. It will not run if it is not in the Applications folder. Uploading a new version that will fix this problem]

Mystery Legends: The Phantom of the Opera Collector's Edition
 –

Superb

Of course, we all know the story so I'm always skeptical when a game uses a well-known tale. But this was an inventive continuation of the original story with the promise of more to come. The graphics were beautiful and even scary. The adventure was absorbing. The puzzles could be quite challenging. A good buy.

Mystic Diary: Haunted Island
 –

A little frustrating

I liked the story and the graphics. I found some parts of the game impossible to figure out without a walkthrough help. That was disappointing. It took me forever to figure out the second part of the game-the transition just wasn't obvious. So in the end I think there are other better games out there.

Mystery Trackers: The Void Collector's Edition
 –

Hours of good gaming

I thought this one was very complex and had a wide variety of minigames and HO. The story gets a little wild and seems to jump around a bit but not so much that you lose interest. I did find that the hints were sometimes not helpful-more useful in the HO parts. Graphics were fab. I haven't played the extra content yet as I'm saving that and drawing out finishing the game. But I will go back to see if it's as much fun the second time around.

Awakening Moonfell Wood

I really enjoyed this game. The puzzles were challenging but fun and not the "same old, same old". It was also beautiful to look at. Worth every penny.

Awakening the Moonfell Wood-an amazing game

I rarely write a reviews but this game really deserves recognition. The story line is interesting, the graphics are great, the games (both hidden object and the mini games) are well thought out and just hard enough to enjoy playing instead of skipping over them. Kudos to the developers for putting together a sophisticated, intriguing game. Keep them coming!
