Monopoly
 –

Graphics missing, crashed twice in 30 minutes

Needless to say I am not converting this demo to a purchase.

It's not a bad game, but crashing isn't really a fun way to play monopoly.

Some pleasant features, otherwise not worth it

The best thing about this game is the experience of flying over the landscapes, which can be quite detailed; the movement in flight is very fluid and natural and the experience is quite restful. The game itself is really not fun at all: it comes down to fighting a series of enemies with two actions "attack" and "put up a shield". You have no control over how well you attack; you either attack or you don't, and success is randomly determined. The fight segments have the strange shortcoming that during them you can't actually control your flight, you just fly round and round in a predetermined pattern and your only decision is "attack" or "shield". The fights posed little challenge for me (and I am not an experienced gamer or skilled at quick play at all) until what looked like the last one, which switched from mediocre to impossible. I quit the game and uninstalled it in disgust. There are two other kinds of actions in the game: you have to look for jewels (to get skill points) and for story points but looking really just consists of flying around and the jewels pretty much reveal themselves; and you occasionally exchange your skill points for skills that affect your success in attacking or shielding. One other nice feature is the opportunity to choose whether to show mercy at the end of a fight, which seems to affect the outcome of the game. Overall, much of the game was pleasant and restful, the rest was really frustrating. I don't recommend it.

The game is fun to play, but the controls are messed up and you have to remember what key this certain symbol is. When also try to move my mouse it just gets weird.

Wonderfull game, keyboard not working fix

It's a amazing game, with a wonderfull story. It plays fine on my Macbook 15" from late 2011 with 512mb vram. The only problem I've had is, that when i open the game sometimes the keyboard doesn't respond, but I found a fix for this, it works for me. Plug out you external mouse before you go into game, when the press enter button pop us, press enter on keyboard, then plug the mouse back in. That's it :) great game!

Well worth it.

This is a very challenging game to stretch your spatial and abstract thinking. For adults - teenagers would be bored.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
 –

Well worth it

This game is much better than most point-and-click adventures. Spooky, scary, but the movement is a bit nausiating if you get motion sickness.

DOOM 3
 –

OK, but....

This game is incredibly similar to Quake. If you have one, don't bother buying the other. Apparently one company bought the other and continued the franchise, but by using the same plot and graphics as the other game. To sell both as different games is rather dishonest.

The Book of Unwritten Tales
 –

Do not purchase.

The plot is fine, the dialogue is very clever. But the puzzles are incredibly tedious. INCREDIBLY tedious. This games moves slower than a republican offering food to a dying child. The characters mosey along, even when they claim to be on an urgent mission. The pace is absolutely ABSURD. If you click on an item, the character will very, very slowly walk all the way around it in a full circle before picking it up. It is MADDENING!!!

Machinarium
 –

Excellent, and very very challenging.

This is not one of those typical teenager games. the puzzles are very difficult. The game is well worth the money. Much better than typical ridiculous point-and-click games.

Prince of Persia The Two Thrones
 –

Sucks

I purchased this game a couple of years ago for my mbp 09 9400m 2.53ghz and never really got around to playing it. So i dusted off my computer and installed this game which was a quick download, unfortunately the port is terrible. My major gripe is with the cutscenes that use the game engine because the audio is 4 minutes behind so you'll hear the lines right away than your stuck for five minutes watching the prince and someone else lip sinc bc you cant skip the cutscenes. Personally this ruined the game for me, i played halfway through and the game mechanics are the same, the fighting system is sluggish and unreliable so its better just to stealthily dispatch enemies, and every cutscenes audio is short by five minutes. I uninstalled this POS right away.
