DOOM 3

Great Game

This game operates smoothly, interesting plot lines, and ability to do whatever you like. My only piece of advice would be to save very frequently. Game is actually "incredibly scary"

Pure Hidden
 –

Are you up for the challenge?

Unlike other adventure/hidden object games, this one is just relaxing and interesting to look at. The artwork is unique and unlike anything I've ever seen in a h.o. game before. The puzzles in between have not been too difficult so far (some of them aren't really puzzles), but the hidden object scenes have been some of the most challenging I have ever played.

Maestro: Music Of Death Collector's Edition

Interesting game

This is an interesting puzzle/hidden object game. The puzzles are generally not overly difficult. The hidden objects are a good size (good for elderly eyes) but that doesn't mean they are all easy to find. Every location is missing something so if you don't play this game continuously, it may be hard to keep track of what you need and where things go. The graphics are nicely drawn and the bonus level is a nice addition. Some of the scenes are dimly lit. Playing in a dimly lit room helps and also adds to the eeriness factor!

The Secrets of Da Vinci
 –

Really good game, mostly minor criticisms

This is a clever and beautifully drawn game. The scenes and rooms are often exquisite, the puzzles are intelligent, challenging and varied, there are a number of parallel story lines and even plot twists. You accumulate a huge inventory of fun and interesting objects to use. It was a little choppy at times to play on a Macbook but mostly very smooth. The characters and dialogue are fair (the voices and accents are pleasant). Be warned: there is one puzzle near the end (involving the Mona Lisa) that is nearly impossible and what's worse, not even slightly entertaining. I found a walkthrough for it (many online commenters using PCs discovered a cheat but it doesn't work on Mac) and that's the only way I finished it. Apart from that one glaring flaw, it is a fun and absorbing game.

Irritatingly slow

Everythings in slow motion. Sure it makes it seem nice and dreamy, but its irritating. Jumping around is annoying, I could only out up with it for one level.

On the other hand, it is very pretty and well designed... just not so fun to play.

Would not recommend this game

Although the graphics are not bad, the game controls are horrible. Also the delivery method ("Deliver2Mac") leaves much to be desired... the delivery appears to not get installed on your hard drive. Definitely would not recommend.

Rescue Team 2
 –

Fast Time Management Game

When a tornado strikes the town, it's up to you to direct your rescue workers to save folks and clean up the mess. I really enjoyed this game. Each of the 50 levels can be completed in 5 minutes or less which means you can get a few games in even if you don't have a lot of time. It's fairly easy to get a silver rating for each level, but you need to be an ace at time management to get the gold. It's a simple little game, but still a lot of fun.

Samantha Swift and the Fountains of Fate: Collector's Edition

Good H.O. game

I enjoyed this hidden object game. The story was not complicated, but it was a decent length (about 45-50 scenes). I would rank the hidden objects at medium difficulty as there always seemed to be at least one or two items I had problems finding. The puzzles in between were fairly easy. There wasn't a lot of running around back and forth and figuring out what to do next was not difficult. Still, the game was challenging and engaging enough for me.

Fun time

This is a fun game to play I play it on relaxed with out the clock ticking and it is a lot of fun to play just to see how big a score you can get on relaxed
Playing it with the clock ticking is a test of how you can plan who does what when
And if you don't do it with in the time try again after a few times you will start to see the little tricks that you can do
Well worth the money and you will play this on over and over if you like building games

Hector: Badge of Carnage Full Series
 –

Good game, especially the triple pack at the reduced price

The game is crude and rude, and very good fun. The main character reminds me of Gene Hunt off Life on Mars & Ashes to Ashes. The first couple of episodes are a bit short, but all three together are well worth the money.

Duke Nukem Forever

Pretty pointless

Utterly boring. You run around in a totally linear game, where you have only one option, only one place you can go, only one thing you can do. Pointless.
