Rage: Campaign Edition
 –

Incredibly Fun

Not a very deep game but incredibly fun. Runs flawlessly on my mid 2010 iMac. Recommended for all id fans and anyone who likes a good shooter with some wasteland vibe thrown in.

WAS a good game

Have played this game for a week or so; lots of fun. Today it froze-character cannot move. Tried exiting & restarting the game, restarting computer, reinstalling a fresh copy of the game, creating a new character....nothing works. very disappointing

Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek Collector's Edition
 –

Looking forward to next instalment

Very atmospheric - a compelling mystery, story and game, with a mixture of hidden objects, mechanical puzzles and inventory items to apply to problems. A more elaborate evidence and deduction process than most. Creepy twists, also.

gnial

King Arthur's Gold
 –

Horrible!

The game play is sketchy at best! The controls are less than user friendly! These people need to take a lesson in real game making! Not worth even the $10!

Sid Meier’s Civilization III: Complete
 –

Terrible Controls

This game is innane. Each unit has to be controlled seperately. Beating any of the levels takes forever and is horrendously repetative to the point of complete boredom. Unless you have no life and the time to commit to wasting on making the same move over and over again, dont waste your time.

King Arthur's Gold
 –

Addictive!

There is no way of describing King Arthurs Gold that will sum up the hilarity, the epicness and sheer wonder of the experience. You can only feel it during direct interaction with the pals and numbskulls that inhabit its servers.

Amazing that they're supporting OSX so early in development. Great bang for your buck, highly recommended!

Larry

This is a unique match 3 and look for stuff game! Starts out very relaxed, but becomes more difficult with different game styles in each level. Good graphics, music, and fun! Buy it! Best deal on the block...

Awakening - The Goblin Kingdom Collector's Edition
 –

A Game that holds my attention

Just finished demo. I agreed that if it held my attention for 60 minutes of demo, I would purchase it. So far, it's not too frustrating and I haven't had to use hints. I can pretty much figure things out on my own. Graphics are decent.

Mixed reviews

Fun at first. Very easy to conquer. Once I conquered, I deleted it. Not Challenging enough for me.

Cultures Northland
 –

Good Game - Classic Game Play

IF you like the original PPC 'Northlands' or if you like Settlers you're sure to like Cultures: Northland. Hats off to Rune-Soft for the intel conversion!!!

PROS:-
Classic game play EXACTLY the same as in 'Northlands' as it is the same game converted to Intel.
Extensive tutorials to help you get started.
Good to see this one not die due to LION's lack of ROSETTA.
Freeplay mode and Multiple Game Level options make for virtually unlimited game play.
Cute Characatures and sounds.
Game can easily be made to display in widescreen by editing just one file.
Runs smoothly with no Graphic or Gameplay glitches on Lion.
DRM does NOT require a constant internet access to play like 'some' games and can therefore be played virtually anywhere on your laptop.
Tons of character options from job, tools, housing, marraige, children -boy/girl-, work location, etc.

Cons:-
Graphics could have used an upgrade - a bit pixelated when zoomed in if using a large display.
No in game option for widescreen displays.
IF you owned the origianl 'Northlands' you get to pay for it again due to LION's lack of ROSETTA support.
No Users or Game Manual.
No multiplayer available - just like the original 'Northlands' PPC game.

NOTE:- For those with widescreen displays the game can quickly and easily be made to display in widescreen by doing the following:

- Run the game once and select any 'Video' options you would like from the Settings button (only available once you have selected Freeplay/Tutrial/Single User - Campaign)
- Open ~/Library/Applications Support/com.rune-soft.culturesnorthland/
- Duplicate the 'config.xml' file (just in case)
- Edit the original config.xml file with Dashcode or your favourite XML editor to your desired widescreen display mode (e.g., 1600 X 900). Insure this is a valid widescreen display for your device and save the file.
- That's it! Now everything except the first Rune-Soft startup screen will display and play in widescreen with no problems. DO NOT change Video options any further in Settings or else your widescreen display option will be overwritten.

Very challenging

I am a big fan of Jewel Quest. Starts of easy and gets harder as you advance. This was one of the best games I played.

Chuzzle
 –

OMG so cute and fun.

These match 3 or more critters are so cute and fun?..I like the challenge of when one or more of the Chuzzles get locked and you can't move that column or line. I especially like the big fat Chuzzles and the ones that wear cool glasses. They move their eyes in cute ways. It's so much fun and addicting. Very colorful. I will never delete my Chuzzle game.
