Commander: Conquest of the Americas
 –

Poor game

I regret buying this. It is not at all intuitive, graphics are poor, and it has little depth. Don't waste your money as I did... even at the sale price it is not worth it.

Sid Meier's Civilization V
 –

Civ 4 is a better game.

Civ 5 has alot of waiting time for each turn and I don't like the fact that you can't stack units for attack. This seems to make the game play longer and become boring. They waisted a lot on graphics instead of game play options.

Civ 4 could of had better graphics but the options are plentifull.

Sid Meier's Civilization IV: The Complete Edition (Mac only)

Love this game

This game was boring at first. Now that I've learned how to play I spend hours at it. One of the best strategy games out there. It's like chess with a lot more pieces.....

American Pickers
 –

A bit of fun

Fun game but not brilliant.

Would be an even better game with improvements like...
- At the moment the bargaining is actually you clicking a button to bundle pre-selected items or choose an item to pay top dollar for as an ice-breaker - would be better if you could nominate a price for each item and actually barter with the seller
- improve logic: e.g. when you get a legendary item that has a second piece and you already have that second piece the dialogue doesn't change to match (it makes it sound like you still have to find the 'already-found' item)
- make it harder or give it an expert level or unlock special items/profit for better bargaining
- too short: took only a few hours to complete
- improve 'competitiveness' e.g. you buy items, get a price but no rewards for getting a better price - and likewise no punishment for selling lower. All items made a profit which isn't particularly realistic

Really nice 3d-style graphics and cute inclusions of the typical American Picker verbal sayings (but would get repetitive if it was a longer game).

Overall if you're looking for a short fun game and like watching American Pickers on TV you'll like this game.

Farm Frenzy 4
 –

Good Game, But Uses Too Much CPU

The game is overall a good game, and improves nicely on earlier Farm Frenzy game in some areas.

It uses so much CPU, though, that it's sometimes unplayable. I mean like all my CPU. It often runs slow and is jagged and I have to shut down everything else to even get it to do that. My computer does indeed (and exceed) meet the minimum requirements.

Highly enjoyable

Game runs great on my 15" Retina MBP with high settings. A blast and well worth the $15 sale price!

Paper Sorcerer
 –

Mmmm

The idea is good, but the game is not as rich and detailed as expected.
Moreover the soundtrack is really annoying and you have no chance to stop it.

Excursions of Evil
 –

Not Mavericks compatible.

Well, at least they're straight up about not being Mavericks compaible. Pretty much means they've got no future. Hope that they put it back out as a different edition when they get their act together, so it'll show up as new.
