Bugged

At the moment it is bugged. It cannnot save my progress. Every time I exit the game, or go back to the main menu, I have to start the game all over again from scratch. Other than that it is a really fun game, so I hope they fix it.

Interesting concept, mediocre gameplay

I love time management games, and this drew my attention because of it's unique concept. It's an interesting idea, but lacks any incentive to do more than just meet your basic goal so you can move on to the next level. My main issue is that the upgrades you're offered between levels appears to just be a set of three randomly chosen upgrades, rather than being shown a list of ugrades that can be purchased with the funds you raise. Even if the upgrades were still offered as they are, the timer (which is a one-time-use upgrade) should be offered as a purchase rather than an upgrade, and perhaps the ability to hire additional workers/assistants added.

If it was free-to-play, or at the very least under $10, I might go for it, but it's definitely not worth the money in my books.

Terrible

No. Far too limited. Can't rearrange letters even? Limited skill levels. Only 1 opponent per game? TRY THE DEMO to see how bad it is.

Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller - Episode 3: The Oracle
 –

Detective mystery puzzle story play

Episode 3 has a much longer gameplay time than the previous two chapters. It takes the story to new depths with further levels of interaction and more challenging puzzles. A captivating story driven mystery as more unfolds through amazing art and great animations, together with excellent voice acting and just the right music. If you liked episode 1, enjoyed chapter 2, then this one is a must!

Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded
 –

Ugh

Great effort on the developer's side in bringing this back to life! However, this Mac version on Retina does not display the full "wide-screen" picture. I don't remember if that alters the ultimate gameplay, but it sure is annoying. Even the preview pictures show screenshots in widescreen, but alas that does not happen in reality (at least not on my MBP(R)). Would love to see an update.

Borderlands 2 GOTY

This game is great, i thought it was good as the normal game, this GOTY edition blows it away. The addition of two extra characters is great. Love it. Cant wait for Borderlands 3.

Poker Night 2

Ho hum

This game has some great characters. Claptrap and Steve, what a combo. Moxxi running the bar, who could it be. Gameplay is good. Gets really repetitive, really quickly.
Good time waster.

Victorian Mysteries: The Yellow Room
 –

Enjoyable

Good story with good narration-especially the French accents. HOG and task related activities are engaging and interesting. Limited replay value once the story is completed.

Soooo addictive

The game is fantastic, I have enjoyed hours of fun. I did find it slightly easy and had no problems finishing it. Takes up ++ RAM towards the last levels.

Complete fun! Great story!

I found this game riveting. I didn't want to take any breaks. I would have finished it on one big session, if I had the chance.

The Book of Unwritten Tales: The Critter Chronicles
 –

Well worth it!

After having played the Book of Unwritten Tales, I had to get my hands on this game! Truly was not disappointed - the plot was filled with humorous dialogue and gameplay, with some truly heart-warming moments between Nate and Critter (: I loved how the game was not just about how they met, but how the blunders they get themselves into made them friends; I'm a sucker for a plot with good character development. The game itself was beautifully designed, as expected, and there was not a single scene that wasn't purposefully elaborate. Going to spend my semester break playing this again!

Left in the Dark: No One on Board
 –

Not bad

It's pretty short but the puzzles are very well done. There are many hidden-object puzzles but a good selection of other kinds as well. I don't care too much for hidden-object but there was enough variety of good puzzles to make it worthwhile.

Margrave: The Blacksmith's Daughter
 –

Offbeat but diverting

The theme and storyline of this game is definitely eccentric (you have to suspend disbelief and not ask too many questions about the oddball world in which the game takes place) but it provides quite a few hours of play. It isn't mainly a hidden-object game, which suited me fine - there is a good variety of puzzles. I enjoyed it.

Noire
 –

Wooden, slow and aggravating

You play a stiff stick figure who moves very slowly around the screen. Mistakes when solving puzzles often lead to death and require starting over a chapter from scratch - which means moving slowly and painfully through uninteresting puzzles you have already solved before - maybe many times, if a particular challenge keeps blocking you. The inability to use the characer's hands means even small mistakes in moving boxes and planks requires a restart since you can't make small adjustments. Stiff gameplay, no flexibility and dull puzzles makes for a bad combination. Not enjoyable.

Surface: The Soaring City Collector's Edition
 –

Nice graphics though game is a little short

I just played this game since it is january and there is not much to do these days. I liked the game-I think it deserves 3 and 1/2 stars but rating system only allows a 3 or a 4. Graphics are nice and puzzles are typical for an hog game. The storyline is good though the game is on the short side. Maybe for most people it will give them two nights of play and for a hard core gamer he or she might complete it in one night. Overall decent game.
