Uno Undercover
 –

Great take on the classic Uno Game

Uno undercover has many new game cards which really enhance gameplay. It has a humorous spy story to go along with it. It is very creative for UNO. The only thing is sometimes it boils down to pure luck as opposed to strategy. Still it is much more enjoyable that playing regular Uno (esp. with additional cards) and the story line is creative in a lighthearted way.

Loved this Game!

A great point and click adventure game that lets you interact with the characters in the book. Fun mini puzzle which you can do when they come up or leave and go back to them. I played the first one too (which was great) but this is even better. You can even leave a book half finished if you are stuck, go to a different book and then back. It really is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it! It has a pretty tough penalty system though.

Jewel Quest Mysteries

Decent hidden object game

It has a good story, graphics and music. There are pretty good mini games ever couple of levels. I thought the HIDDEN SWEEPSTAKES made it more interesting. While it tries to combine 2 genres (H/0 & match 3) it hasn't perfected the combination but it is a good idea. There are better H0 games out there and better MATCH 3 out there but it is neat having some of both.

Classic gameplay

I still remember this game landing back in 1997 with a big bang - surprisingly it's still enjoyable in 2008, thanks to fun gameplay and quite vast array of weapons

Eschalon: Book I
 –

A classic RPG lover's paradise

Fans of old-school ultima (III-VI) can rejoice with eschalon book I. I played this game for a solid 40 hours to completion, and I loved it. I played it on an older powerbook g4 (633mhz) and it was painfully slow - you'll want something a bit faster than this to really enjoy the gameplay. I hear basilick games is working on eschalon book II; can't wait until that one comes out!

Jewel Quest Mysteries

Better Than the Older Version!

I had purchased a jewel quest with my old PC and was excited to try this one out on my Mac. Needless to say, I am very impressed with the quality of the graphics and the sound. The hident objects are more and more difficult to find as the game moves on. I really add enjoy the addition of the gold coins!

Great Game

Well worth the money! Similar to the Diner Dash series, it offers challenge and interest with each level. I bought it a week ago and am on level 40 of 60 levels. Great graphics too.

Fun!

This is a very fun and challenging game. It is refreshing to find a game that was released in 2008 that does not contain violence and nudity.

My Tribe
 –

Well worth the money

An intelligent, well designed game with plenty of replay value. With billions of islands to choose from and travel to as your tribe grows and prospers as they solves mysteries and develops potions there is plenty to do. The ability to travel to different islands and to landscape them as well as help your tribe to prosper and earn trophies is excellent. The game will continue to run while it is off, or you can pause it to enjoy everything yourself. If you might like it, try it, you will!

My Tribe
 –

Good gameplay

My Tribe has many different islands to explore, with plenty of variety and challenges. There are trophies to unlock and the game plays out even when not playing it, which can be considered a pro or a con. Many people don't like a game that keeps playing when they are not on it. IT is quite similar to VIRTUAL VILLAGERS, so if you liked that you will definitely like MY TRIBE. YOU can choose from literally billions of islands, each with a different layout and 3 sets of mysteries to choose. In that way it is different from VVillagers. It all comes down to if you are a fan of REALTIME play or not.

The Magician's Handbook: Cursed Valley
 –

Good Graphics

The best I can say about Cursed Valley is the handpainted graphics and audio. The game is too short and some things are very hard to see. There is no randomization in the scenes so you can memorize where objects are. The mini games were just so/so nothing great. I found it just average.

Europa Universalis: Rome

Complicated as hell

when you buy this games make sure you have at least six hours to try to figure the game out. the tutorial is pretty much just a bunch of tips and it doesn't even tell you how to move your troops. my opinion, a waste of 40 bucks.

Cooking Quest
 –

Cute Game-Poor Graphics

This game was interesting enough for a hidden object game but, with my 1440X900 iMac display, it really looked washed out. Too bad, I was starting to like it but my eyes started hurting...hidden object games shouldn't look like a complete blur!

The Rise of Atlantis
 –

A Solid Match 3

The best thing about this game is the audio visuals.....they are great. It is also a very solid match 3 game yet it does not push the boundaries of the genre. It has the same formulas as many other quality match 3 out there and besides graphics, really has nothing new to offer. That being said aren't most of the H/O games like that and if you need a new match 3 to play this will definitely satisfy you! It is very good just doesn't bring anything new to the table.

National Geographic Presents Herod's Lost Tomb
 –

Almost worked!

Considering it was N.G's first foray into caual gaming, they did an adequate job but I am expecting more next time. The graphics and history are realistic and the best part of the game. It is also quite long but easy and repetitive. There are mini games but even they are repetitive being mostly jigsaw and rotation. There is one difficult pipe mini game. There is a timed and relaxed mode but this is one game I think most could finish in timed. I give National Geographic kudos because I love them so much and this is their first try. I am sure their next game will be much more of a challenge though.

SKIP-BO Castaway Caper
 –

Fun for the first 30 min.

If you love skip-bo I suppose you would be happy with this game......but unlike FAIRWAY SOLITAIRE (excellent card game) it is just the same thing over and over again and gets incredibly boring. I certainly wish they would come out with some better card games, the are few and far between. I just found this game incredibly repetitious!

THE Best Music!

I am thoroughly enjoying this game and WILL purchase it. WONDERFUL Middle Eastern music, great graphics in the hidden objects part of the game, the "Upgrades" choices between sections is a cool idea... so far the mini-games inbetween were a little on the easy side, but there was also the ability within those games to find coins to purchase extra hints and upgrades, so "easy" provided extra time to plan strategy for getting those coins... I highly recommend this game!

Even better than the first

Interesting plot, multipage puzzles and entertaining mini games. It has good replay value and you are never bored playing it. The best part is that you can save your progress without starting over like you did in the first one. HIGHLY ENTERTAINING
