Europa Universalis IV: Cradle of Civilization Icon
Not needed at all and it's a good thing.
by Marcin M.14, Poland - Apr 24th 2019

You don't need this DLC to play game at all. It doesn't has any feature that playing without makes game unplayable, but it has a lot of small ones that can make your games more in depth and allows for more freedom in your game. The big features of this game as of more depth to Middle East and army professionalism don't make this dlc worthy in itself. What makes it worthy however is making small changes like promoting advisors, exploiting development or allowing to use missionaries in your vassal provinces. From big features exploting professionalism serves good as additional manpower pool and it buffs Mameluks, so Ottomans don't have so easy start for their blobbing

Europa Universalis IV: Rule Britannia Icon
Nor really neaded
by Marcin M.14, Poland - Apr 24th 2019

It adds some more depth to British Islands and if that you want then you could get it. Innovativeness is cool feature at first and it is fun to try to keep it as highest as possible, but without good place in Europe it is impossible to keep it high. Coal arrives so late in games that it doesn't change much. You either get some bonus near the end of your campaing thanks to it or you don't depending on your game. The best worldwide feature for me in this DLC is naval missions. It allows to make fleets patrol naval regions or intercept enemy fleets. I rate this at 4 stars as this dlc is cheaper than regular ones, so I shouldn't expect so much from it

Civilization V: The Complete Edition Icon
Simple 4X Strategy
by S O.1, USA - Apr 24th 2019

Civilization V, like any iteration of the Civilization series, puts the player as a well known historical ruler of their empire. The mechanics are easy to learn and most certainly hard to master. Recommended for those who enjoy strategy games and are willing to waste potentially hundreds of hours clicking "next turn" for just "one more turn".

Crusader Kings II Icon
Grand Strategy in a Medieval Light
by S O.1, USA - Apr 24th 2019

While not my cup of tea, Crusader Kings does a good job at what it sets out to do. From being very historically accurate with rulers and events, the wacky unexpected events to set it apart. Not for the faint of heart when it comes to strategy games; will test your intellect. Recommended for those who specifically enjoy "grand" strategy games over large maps and those who are willing to spend 100 hours in just one game.

Crusader Kings II: Way of Life Icon
Important to a Ruler's Life
by S O.1, USA - Apr 24th 2019

This DLC is much cheapers than most other Crusder Kings: II DLC, but it is very much worht it. It helps to flesh out your ruler's life and add some basic mechanics such as "seduction" and setting an ambition of sorts. Recommended for those who are looking to seduce whomever they want in the game, including the Pope.

Crusader Kings II: Legacy of Rome Icon
Important to Roman Fanboys
by S O.1, USA - Apr 24th 2019

This DLC for Crusader Kings: II does not offer much, thankfully it's price tag reflects that, but it can be very important to fanboys of the Holy Roman Empire and subsequently Byzantium. Recommended for those crusaders looking to reunite the Roman Holy Land.

SteamWorld Heist Icon
Fun little game, neat aiming mechanic
by bills6693, United Kingdom - Apr 24th 2019

This game has a fun concept with turn-based combat, and the key feature is manual aiming of shots with rebounds etc. Beyond that its not too deep

Northgard - Nidhogg, Clan of the Dragon Icon
Great clan, unique playstyle
by bills6693, United Kingdom - Apr 24th 2019

This clan adds a very unique playstyle to the game, with the ability to rapidly expand by using civilians to clear out wolves and even drauger (in enough numbers) before building any military units. The reliance on Thralls (mainly for sacrifice) means you need to keep upping your gold production to keep buying more unless you can capture them in fighting. Overall a really unique clan and a great addition to the game at a good cost!

Crusader Kings II: Conclave Icon
For Those Who Wanna Make Vassals that More Annoying
by S O.1, USA - Apr 23rd 2019

Now, this DLC adds council voting power. Those vassals that you kept for strats but still hated you can now exact their revenge. Wanna change any minor law? Now the council can vote for or against it. This helps balance out part of the game, to some, or ruin it, for others. Recommended for those looking for a more accurate portrayl of medieval politics, but also looking for a wonderfully angering game.

Europa Universalis IV: The Cossacks Icon
Brings good change to diplomacy
by Marcin M.14, Poland - Apr 23rd 2019

This dlc main feature is favors and diplomacy around them. It makes some time to adjust to this system as it is different to vanilla and harder for smaller nations at beginning, but it brings a lot of depth to a game and creates a better flow of game.

Europa Universalis IV: El Dorado Icon
Essential DLC
by Marcin M.14, Poland - Apr 23rd 2019

This DLC is often regarded as regional dlc that is built around colonization. Yes this dlc has a lot of features for Americas, but it also has essential features of support independence. Without it is almost impossible to play as vassal or lesser partner of PU. You can get this essential feature in Conquest of Paradise, but in this one you can get other great features (but not as esential as support independence) as changes in America and nation designer. Support independence should be in base gase as it is almost gamebreaking to play without it in current state of a game.

Crusader Kings II: Holy Fury Icon
Excellent
by Stefan V.1, USA - Apr 22nd 2019

Very good DLC. Adds much-needed customization options to pagan religions and the "shattered world" features give infinite replayability.

Crusader Kings II: Charlemagne Icon
Charlemagne
by Stefan V.1, USA - Apr 22nd 2019

While the DLC's features on its own may be lackluster, the addition of a whole new start date (769 AD) gives increased options to the player, and the viceroyalty and custom kingdom/empire features are really handy to have around.
