Stellaris
 –

Very, very good

I wasn't a huge fan of Stellaris when it initially launched, but after all the patches and added DLC, I can say it ranks up there with EU4 and CK2 (although in my personal opinion it's not as good as either of those). Definitely a must buy if you like Paradox style strategy games and want something a little easier and with more lasers!

Moonlighter
 –

Very decent dungeon crawler shop management hybrid!

It is as cute as it is wonderfully put together with very much detail and love from the devs. I like it very much!

Tormentor X Punisher
 –

It's Nuclear Throne but with more AHHHHHHH

Everything goes AHHHH, TAKE THIS! Instant action, absolutely no waiting here to get the game started. Just jump in and shoot everyone in the face to splatter blood all over! It will probably not occupy you long but it will give you some action packed adrenaline moments!

Stellaris: MegaCorp
 –

Space Empire Inc.

Instead of a traditional empire, this dlc allows you to conquer the galaxy as a megacorporation. Unique civics, wonders, and perks let you add a ton of flavour to your playthrough. The dlc mostly focuses on megacorps but does include mechanics (mostly perks) accessible to regular empires.

Tales from the Borderlands
 –

Meets expectations, the humor takes it further

Tales from the Borderlands is, just like all Telltale games, a "choice-lite" story driven game, with choices that don't really matter. I went in with this expectation, and viewed the game as if it was a movie. From this standpoint, the game is great. It delivers a good and funny story in about 9-10 hours of playtime. The game only receives four stars due to [slight spoilers] the lack of a proper ending, and because quite a few of the animations in the game are stale. Recommended on a sale.

Imperator: Rome
 –

A bare bones disgrace

Well, what did we expect? A full game from Paradox at launch? Nah. I didn't. But I didn't expect to get such a lifeless, boring game where every country feels the same and there's literally no challenge. They boasted it for having elements of CK2 and EU4. Well, they basically took just the bare minimum from both to give it the comparison. I find myself not caring about characters (something I'd never do in CK2), and I find the combat to be super simplistic and boring (something I never have a problem with in EU4 or CK2). Yes, with DLC and patches this could become fun. But seriously. What a letdown.

Dungeon of the Endless - Crystal Pack
 –

Excellent game

I spent far too much time on this game. It is a great value and amazing and beautiful experience.

Cities: Skylines - Green Cities
 –

Greenish

Love the recycling center and new buildings - except the low residentials, they look weird with the sand ground...

Cities: Skylines - Mass Transit
 –

Well worth it.

Easily one of the best DLC for Skylines. Adds a good variety of transport options.

Hearts of Iron IV: Cadet Edition
 –

Tough but fun.

Similar to other Paradox grand strategy but distinguishes itself very well. Great mod scene.

Europa Universalis IV: Wealth of Nations
 –

Trade DLC - Pretty Important

This is really a core mechanic of the game, and it's a lot less interesting without this. If you need to buy a bunch of DLC's at once wait for a sale, but this is one you won't want to pass up.

Europa Universalis IV: Res Publica
 –

As the name implies, it's all about Republics!

If you want fleshed out mechanics for merchant republics, then this is a must-have. Otherwise you can skip it. Although I will say, I enjoyed playing as the Netherlands a great deal, so I probably got value for this DLC on that single playthrough.

Europa Universalis IV: Mare Nostrum

Get this one on Discount

Has some cool features in it, but none of them are groundbreaking. Mostly quality of life stuff. It's nice to have, but you can absolutely enjoy EU4 without this one.

Europa Universalis IV: El Dorado
 –

Nation Designer? Yes please.

For me, this is a top 5 EU4 DLC no question - but that's because I like playing around with custom nations and randomized new world setups. Even if you don't care about that, it adds events for certain new world playthroughs - I got good value out of this during a fun Inca run.

Europa Universalis IV: Art of War
 –

Top 5 DLC for sure

The ability to give orders to allied armies alone is worth it, lots of other great stuff here to justify the purchase.

Satellite Reign
 –

Indie Cyberpunk Squad Game

Cool game, unfortunately I've had some problems playing it in online coop with friends, but the core game in singleplayer is pretty fun regardless. Definitely pick it up on a discount though, as it's steep at 30.

Blood Bowl 2
 –

Beautiful and fun!

This is an excellent conversion of the board game, with surprisingly good production values. Many, many upgrades and special skills available, en great replay value.

Stellaris: MegaCorp

Grab on a discount, but it's pretty cool!

Has some interesting new features, like a galactic slave market that definitely adds a dystopic sci-fi feel to it. Solid DLC but not at sticker price.
