Age of Wonders: Planetfall - Invasions
 –

More great DLC

The second DLC for Planetfall is continuing the good trend from the first by adding interesting new mechanics to the game along with new factions that add flavour to the game.

Hearts of Iron IV: Man the Guns
 –

Ship designer best designer

From the early dev diaries I knew that this DLC was going to be special with the amount of freedom it allows players to design ships, and I like to think that in some small part I helped bring some of the wackier concepts to life.

Hearts of Iron IV: Cadet Edition
 –

The WW2 game to get

A step up from vanilla HoI III, with less micro and more strategy. The battle plans make waging war on multiple fronts much less of a chore than previously.

If Grand Strategy in a WW2 setting is your thing, this is the game to get.

Only con for me, the game performance degrades too much as the timeline advances.

EVE Online: Premium Pack
 –

Not your traditional MMO

EVE Online has all the trappings of an MMO, in a sci-fi universe.

It is the most sandbox of sandbox MMOs. Which makes it as much of a strategy game as traditional MMO. The universe is vast, shared with 10s of thousand of other players on a single server. You can go it alone as a budling individualist, or join a player corporation and try your luck in PvE, PvP, crafting, diplomacy or all of the above – in the end, you are ultimately competing with other players in any avenue you choose.

It is the closest you'll come to an MMO, that is easy to get into, but difficult to master. Every system and mechanic has variables to improve under the hood, and even after years of playing, there's always something new to learn.

There's a reason why people refer to it as a hobby, more than a game. You decide how much you want to invest.

Tormentum - Dark Sorrow
 –

High Art in game form, thought provoking!

"Tormentum" was a joy to play. Fantastic artwork and sound design.
The overall atmosphere of the game is exceptional.
Most of the "puzzles" are very very easy, but I saw this as a great plus.
Maybe you should be open-minded to appreciate the story.

Age of Wonders: Planetfall - Invasions

Great addition to one of my favourite games. The new race is really interesting. The other additions are solid too.

Age of Wonders: Planetfall - Revelations

+ New models and maps are well polished and visually distinct.
+ New music tracks are atmospheric and more original than the old ones.
+ Concept art is still amazing.
- Anomalies should have been better integrated into the map and existing special locations, instead of spawning on random empty spots on the map.
- The writing is still atrocious and the lore a mess, despite some interesting premises.

Stellaris: Distant Stars Story Pack
 –

Good for experienced players

The mid- to late-game crisis this DLC adds will likely frustrate newer players. It's not terribly difficult to avoid or defeat if you know what you're doing and know to prepare for it, but for inexperienced players it will likely feel insurmountable.

Not a bad buy if you've gotten any Stellaris expansions you're interested in and are looking for a challenge. Sales are frequent, so wait for one.

Stellaris: Galaxy Edition Upgrade Pack
 –

Great DLC (discounted)

This DLC also gives you a copy of the "Complete Soundtrack" DLC and the ebook that is sold seperately. Beware: the ebokk isn't registered in your Steam account, but you still geit it here! I wish Paradox would solve this problem.

Airport Madness 3D: Volume 2
 –

Air Controller Simulator

Personally, I don't like that the game is only in English.
It's not my style of play, but for the lovers of the airports I suppose you will like it.

Stellaris: Nemesis

Adds intrigue and subterfuge to Stellaris, and more ways to influence your friends and foes from the shadows. A great balancing mechanic for smaller empires to feel more empowered.

Cities: Skylines - Coast to Coast Radio
 –

The music is good....

And worth the money. But of the 6 radio stations I currently have in my library, this is the most annoying DJ, by far. Love the music, hate the dj.
