[The title is a play on words but Escapists 2 manages to offer a 360 degree plus to the first version. And how does it reach it? It reaches it with tweaks here and there (see the new graphics and more) and introducing the multiplayer mode in some ways the main feature of this new version. Both games impressed me and both manage to impress with the differences. Differences that can also be seen in the editor however ...]
[Team17 never denies itself and with Escapists they open a genre that we all know between films and more. The game with 8-bit interface and crafting dynamics manages to capture you and push you to "escape". It may seem repetitive in some actions, true there is, but since it is an escape some operations are repetitive and it is there that if you know how to observe with the right eye you will be struck by Escapists.]
I'm done with Elephant games. The mini games are either too easy (one game was litterally the first two clicks on the same arrow) or too frustrating to complete. A hedge trimmer that runs on one 9 volt battery that sounds like a chainsaw and a gas powered flashlight.
This is a fantastic game especially for language learners, there are mods around that allow you to use its texts to learn a lot of words interactively.
Campgrounds IV has a wacky story with a villian, but it's really a time management game about building out plots of land on an series of campgrounds. As the game progresses you get to build ever-more sophisticated dwellings. Play was a lot like build-a-lot, which I loved, though there are more levels here — abut 50 in all; it took me about 4 hours to complete and it was a nice distraction for a weekend.
