Victoria II: Heart of Darkness

A must have!

An excellent addition to the game- if you don't already have then grab a copy asap. It greatly enhances the base game. (you must have AHD installed prior to HOD in order for it to work!) I have clocked up over 100 hours on this expansion. Vic 2 is a great game and this is a great expansion.

Simple & effective

A solid little hex game that can be quite addictive. Very similar to Unity of Command. Play as the Red Army or Wermachtt on a large scale map. Intuitive quick to get to grips with the interface. Good turn based strategy game. Well worth a punt.

Company of Heroes Complete: Campaign Edition

Intuitive Impressive Immersive

Bought the game for approx £2 in sale- unbelievable! Instantly hooked great tutorials easy to get a handle on the game. The graphics are still pretty good considering the game has been around a few years. I have an obessive interest in all things WW2 and COH allows you to participate in the historic battles and rewrite history. Great game, strongly recommended!

Victoria II: A House Divided

Grear addition

Love Victoria 2 and this expansion adds to the play. Players now have the option to start the game from 1861 (in addition to 1836)- the year that the devastating American Civil War broke out. This dlc has greatly enhanced my experience of the game. I bought it on sale with Heart of Darkness. A great joint purchase that I strongly recommend if you want to enjoy the total Victoria 2 experience.

SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition

Release your inner architect/town planner

This is a great game. I have spent day after day lost in the construction of the perfect village/town/city/region. The game is creative, allowing you to plan and build a range of communities. Watch the city grow, industry develop and react to the demands of your Sims who live and work in your communities. Great to be able to solve a wide range of social and environmental issues. The extensive modding community have produced a fantastic range of additions that really enhance the game, enabling you to create individual identities for each town. It runs perfectly on my late 2008 13 inch macbook running Mavericks.

Totally Absorbing

I love this game! Once you grasp the basics you quickly become immersed in the range of options open to you as leader of your chosen nation. The complex web of alliances woven between so many nations can really quickly undo so much of your nation and empire building if you don't keep a close eye on these diplomatic machinations! The possibilities are endless and I've spent many hours deep in the game, totally absorbed.
