Nightmares From The Deep: The Cursed Heart Collector's Edition
 –

Entertaining game without the running around to no avoid !

Good game : graphics ok, story ok, interface ok. Puzzles challenging. No running around to no avoid as is the case in many of these games. Pity it was finished, but duration is ok too.

Rite of Passage: Child of the Forest Collector's Edition
 –

Good search & find with alternative puzzles

This search & find game has other than the classic search & find puzzles. You don't only have to spy & find but use your brain to make connections in finding things. Good graphics & easy to use interface. Worth its money !

Puzzles a bit too easy

Good game but puzzles are a bit too easy for experienced players. Nice story though

Bit too easy

This was an entertaining game but puzzles are a bit too easy for experienced player. Do not play this game if you are looking for a real challenge ! Nice graphics & easy interface though.

Not very clear puzzles

I didn't finish this game because I had to refer to the walkthrough too much as the puzzles weren't very clear. It's a shame as it has nice graphics & what I presume is a good storyline ...

Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes
 –

Not a fan of the graphics

This is probably a good game but I didn't finish because I am no great fan of the graphics used. Which doesn't mean this is a bad game if you appreciate the weird cartoon graphics.

Dark Dimensions: City of Ash
 –

Good search & find : not so good for the colourblind

Good game, but a lot of the puzzles are colour-based, and as a colourblind individual had to skip all these...

Witches' Legacy: Lair of the Witch Queen
 –

Mediocre search & find game

Entertaining enough to finish but no great challenge. Graphics very nice though, but puzzles could be a bit clearer & harder at times.

Game malfunctioned

This older game malfunctioned on my Mac even though it was indicated that my system was OK to play this. Maybe game is too old ?

Not a fan of the interface & graphics

I thought of giving this game a chance but was disappointed in the interface which gives me nausea... It is a well made game but the interface needs work.

Cognition Game of the Year Edition
 –

Doesn't deserve title Game of the year

Very weird interface & linear gameplay. You're stuck a lot of the time because there is only 1 thing to do & this gets boring quickly...

Among the Sleep
 –

Boring game - interface not very good

I found this game to be boring and the interface very old fashioned ! I didn't play it to the end and personally think it's a waste of my money. Puzzles too far fetched.

Very entertaining game !

Very nice game : good graphics, good story line, nice touch being able to switch between characters. Good difficulty level : challenging but not frustrating.

Ingenious puzzles but sometimes a bit too farfetched

Very nice graphics & very well thought out puzzles but sometimes a bit too farfetched & a bit too much "running around". Played this game because I found the "Tiny bang story" one of the best games I ever played. This is along the same line but got me a bit frustrated at times.

Calavera: Day of the Dead
 –

Good game but a bit too linear

Good mix between puzzles & search & find (such games are hard to find) but I personally don't like it when games are too linear. Nice graphics but as a lot of games you have to run around a lot because of the linear aspect.

Roads of Rome
 –

As a time management game should be !

Very enjoyable & addictive game. The only downpoint (a small one) is that you cannot see in advance (before you actually start a level) where everything is & how much it costs to build something. On the more difficult levels this sometimes requires playing the level several times. For the rest : very good overview of stock of goods and what is possible to build (turns blue) Also good indication of how much goods you are short to accomplish a task.

Roads of Rome 2
 –

Why change a winning format ?

Very nice sequel to a very good game. Graphics stay the same (then again why change them if they were OK the first time). Some extra features as swamps & fires. You want to be an "expert" at every level so you get the bonus levels. I spent many an hour playing this game & beware of stiff shoulder muscles (clicking your mouse & sitting tensely will do that to you) Just as good as the original game. For those who couldn't get enough of it.

Roads of Rome 3
 –

Highest level too difficult - otherwise perfect time management game

As Roads of Rome & Roads of Rome 2, this 3rd game is every bit as good. They added extra difficult challenges as monks you have to pay an "enormous" amount of ham or gold and cristals or tokens you have to hammer down costing a lot of your supplies. Maybe the most difficult level is attainable (at "expert" results), but I didn't manage. So I chose the next level down & sweated on the higher numbered games but was ever so pleased when I unlocked the bonus levels. It's a mindnumbing game but you have to use your wits in deciding in what order to do things very meticulously or you won't get there.
Same graphics as in the original & sequel, but they are pleasing & still good overview of stock & goals.

Gone Home
 –

Good narrative, but not much gaming

This "game" tells an interesting story, and its world is created to accompany this. Sadly, this makes it less of a game and more of an interactive movie. A mediocre one at that. Don't expect ANY puzzling.

Azada: Elementa
 –

Very entertaining game, crashes a few times though...

Good game play, nice overview of tasks still to complete + map of where tasks are located. Nice graphics. Game crashes a few times at certain puzzles though (Eye puzzle, shell puzzle & octopus jigsaw) Only solution is to skip the puzzles, then game continues without problem.
Good long play value.
