Only three things i can say are wrong with this game. 2 are a personal prefrence, and that is the levels where you just have to build up an army and defeat another base etc, they have tons of cool missions but i like a few of the old school just build em up and defend without all the time limits etc. 2nd, is that before a level starts you have no idea how to buff your swarm, let alone what perks to give to kerrigan, Should have a preview or some sort of suggestion, i know everyone playes differently but a lot of levels people would use the same perks. -the 3rd thing i dotn like is a performance issue, when i bought the first SC2 i was blown away at the quality and the performance, then i upgraded my computer and was blown away again by how much i got from the game. I got this one, and yes i have upgraded my computer again, 2gb video card, I7 processer with 8gb of ram, and its EHHH, i think i would have to give it a 6/10 relative to the last starcraft and other games that i have played in the last year.
-Overall, the two personal prefferences only took a bit away from the game, and the poor graphics quality was the big hit, relative to other games in the last year, make ths a 4/5 star game.
I was blown away 2 years ago when this came out, my girlfriend bought it for me for my b-day. Then i upgraded my computer about 6 months later and turned the options up and was even more blown away, so much to do and so many options, just good old fun. A few things i would have changed, but nothign i can say bad about the game just personal preferences. I don't like how they are still charging 40 buck for this game, when it came out it was worth it, but now i would say a fair price for it is 25-30 dollars
Typical duke game, lots of sillyness ans sexualization. SIlly catch phrases adn the works. definitely worth playing for sure but i wouldnt say this game is worth more than 15-20 bucks due to the lack of creativity and how quickly you can beat it. I woudl say buy it for sure if you havent tried it and certainly buy it if you played the original since it makes for a good walk down memory lane. Overall, 4/5 and worth 15-20 bucks.
A whole lot of the same missions, same problems, same tactics, just a whole lot whole lot whole lot of the same.
The worst part is you start to really get into parts of it, start to figure out what to do and how to win and then BOOM, you have finished the game. Seriously, less than 15 hours to play it and that includes screwing around some with the side plots and games. They build this whole world and did all this work yet you beat it in 15 hours or less... not worth more than 15.00 dollars in my opinion.
This game is terrible, its completely rediculous, i spent 1 hour and couldnt even get off the ground. You try to get help online but people are either terrible at explaining or totoal jerks. The game doesnt even have a tutorial, whats the point of buying a game you have to work so dam hard to play. I know its a simulator, but seriusly, it should have a disclaimer saying dont buy unless you know this game or have hours to practice learing all sorts of random commands. I get that it shouldn't just show you, but cant it have a tutorial, syaing here is the ignition,heres breaks etc. I use to play A-10 attack and that was 10 years ago and it was a million times better than this.

Ability to build walls in an fast effective manner 2/10. The walls are hard to control, hard to know where you can build and where you can not. The towers are hard to place and the game has no intuition to help you auto flip towers in a logical way, why would you want a gaurd tower on a wall facing into your castle with stairs on the outside? ITs hard to find units in the game, they blend in so much with terrain. unit intelligence 5/10
This game has a huge foundation, all it needed was a bit of care and effort to make it amazing, on my 2400 imac the game looks like a game i played on my nintendo 20 years ago. They jsut didnt take their time, unit selection is hard with mixed units, unit finding is hard, unit identification is hard, and building quickly and in a efficiant manner is hard, If STARCRAFT the original was 100, this game would be a 40. So sad, i wouldnt pay more than 15 dollars for this game, and thats before you have CONSTANT 3d animation glitches where cubes and such jump across the screen and almost 2 times a map you have units get stuck and can not be moved. I wouldnt buy this game for more than 10-15 dollars having played it, i paid 21 for it on sale i beleive.

Gun sounds-9/10 gun looks -9/10 explosions 8/10 weapons 8/10 story line 8/10 voice acting 5/10 -SO stupid, like a kids game at times, often annoying, the swearing is put in to add intensity but just makes it silly.
Graphics- 8/10 Enemy intelligence 7/10 realism-7/10 often stupid, waves of guys charge a machine gun etc. sort of, wouldnt they take cover if i had a gatling gun mowing them down
online-7/10-not enough people on, only can play with mac players, often only 50 people on world wide. zombies 5/10-almost nobody ever plays. Often wait 10 minutes to get a online zombie game going.
VERY GOOD GAME OVERALL, but they rape you online by only letting you play with mac players and the in game childish "SHOOT EM UP" unrealistic crap is annoying, its a game based on realism and military tactics, black ops to be specific, lets keep it realistic. overall 8/10
Really not that bad of a game. I am 26 and wanted to give it a try, it wasn't to bad for an hour or so and then became boring and repative. Havent played it with another person, that may add some fun to it. But to be honest, for 7 dollars, what can you really complain about. A movie now days costs 10 bucks, so if you get at least 1 hour of fun out of this its worth it. Wish they had given you a bit more options on tactics, choices, and role activities but again for sure worth 7 bucks.
I dont like that you can basically only beat the levels in 1 way, it makes it more of a puzzel game than a tactical game. Would love more cannons and more options to add layers to the game. OVerall, a very fun TOWER DEFENSE type game. OVerall, in the genra of tower defense i would give it a 6/10. OVerall for a game that cost only 7 bucks and gave me hours of entertainment. 9/10
Not to bad overall, i honestly dont feel this game is truelly worth 30 bucks. Its a solid 20 dollar game, and if it goes below 20 on sale for sure buy it. Has lots of options that needed to be added when it comes to tactics. Also, why the hell wont a machine gun crew turn around and fire on a flanking enemy, yes foliow orders but dont make me come select you and say DONT DIE< TURN AROUND?
Buy it if you must at 30, Buy it for sure at 20, YOU ARE NUTS NOT TO BUY IT BELOW 20.
-Overall a great game, i would prefer the animation to be better and if possible make the battles/fighting more realistic. Would a bunch of guys really charge down an alley at a group of enemy with machine gunes and mg42's? Make it a little more tactical, this isnt the 90's anymore i expect more. Still a great game, and i recommend buying it, especially when its on sale. Not really worth 30 bucks, but if it hits 20 buy it for sure. I got it on sale for 14.00
This game is dumb. It has so much going for it then falls short with making you do specific paths. You can't really play the levels the way you please and plan to succeed. You almost have to run a specific route. I dont like the fact that the weapons are ranked with skulls, but then you try to use them and some do better on certain ships. Its all kinda just childish randomness which makes the levels harder to beat. The sound is amazing, the graphics great, but a lot of short falls made me upset and i stopped playing this game
I enjoy the game and it definitely is great for how much it costs, but why cant i save? Pretty dumb that you have to leave the game open to save your progress, ive looked all over and cant find a save option. Cant tell me its that hard to program a simple save feature. Game would have got much better review, possibly a five out of five for the cost if it had an option to save progress!
