Obduction

Great after bugs were fixed

You'll need to be patient to get through this game. The stunning graphics and mystical themes will keep the gamer moving along. The tree challenges allow the gamer views to view infinity. If you're like me, you may have to consult walkthroughs when you're stuck. Still, I kept plodding along. They payoff was amazing.

A bit of a snooze for me

The point of this game is to explore different fonts by steering two dots through the shapes of the letters. As a previous review noted, it takes some coordiation to manage that. But I was left thinking, "What's the point?" I'm not interested in the history of typography. The name should have stopped me from buying it. If you like typography, go for it. Otherwise, stay away. If not, it's a big yawn.

Big adjustment from iOS to MacBook pro

I initially played this game on my iPhone 6 plus. It takes quite an adjustment, but it's quite worth the effort. I typically use a mouse on my MacBook, but I would recommend switching back to the touchpad. I can't wait to explore this game further.

A visual treat

I've had great fun playing this game. The premise is basic — consume matter to get bigger. But the permutations are delightful. It's like watching a Lava Lamp — but you run the show.

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs
 –

Horror taken to a new level

This game has it all — gore, filth, and plenty of scares. I could practically smell the stench of the pigs. It is one of the most twisted gaming experiences I have ever had! I loved it.

Made no sense at all

This game was boring and pointless. It claims to tell a story — but it doesn't. The narrator was annoying, and all the tasks were mind-numbing.

Charming game

This game is truly inventive. The challenges become more complex at the higher levels. The visuals are a lot of fun. And once you advance to the "void" mode, you don't have to listen to the narrator anymore.

Not for purists

This version of Scrabble allows words that are not allowed in the normal game — therefore it's frustrating to play against the CPU. Still, it's mildly fun — a good way to pass the time if there's nothing else to do.

Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller - Episode 4: The Cain Killer
 –

Over-the-top detective drama

This game was a great payoff for the Erica Reed series. It has everything you'd expect from the previous games. But this new chapter ads new twists to keep the players interested. The plot is very dramatic — overly so for some. But I enjoyed it.

If you like your games scary, this first-person adventure series is right for you. The visuals are compelling. And the storyline will always keep you guessing. Buckle your seat belts!

Fun and challenging

This offbeat game allows the player to explore a mythical world. The visuals are very good — although you do run into a few dead ends. Overall, it's well worth the money.

An enjoyable field trip

This story takes you on an interesting trip into nature. The game makers created lots of strange animals — and that keeps the game interesting. It's a good way to pass the time.
