Public Enemies: Bonnie & Clyde
 –

tedious

This game had such potential with the theme (it dragged me in).
The graphics and music are good but the games are horrible. You don't have to think but just have the patience to find things which are either terribly monotonous or impossible to find unless you have the eyes of an eagle. Not fun at all so don't waste your money.

COULD BE BETTER

It's a clever idea, fairly good graphics and sound but a little choppy in the gameplay. Some items are next to impossible to find without the hint button which is generous. Some puzzles are very good. Disturbing in the inability to save where you want. Have to play things over and over. Also, way to short for the money and no replay value. Takes about an hour to play.

ENTERTAINING LIKE A BOOK

It's definitely a cute and very clever story but that's all it is. It's just like reading a book with almost nothing to do as a player. You have a few choices to point in the right direction and the rest is done for you.

NOT READY!

There is no menu for this game so you cannot get a full screen. Can't see or play HO games this way. Get that corrected and then it looks like a good game.

FRENZY!

Frenzy is the only word that comes to mind. You don't learn anything about cooking except the recipes at the end which you could get anytime. It's just hectic rushing and doesn't take any brains or skill....just one fast finger!

Great GAME FOR ALL AGES

This game is is great fun for all ages. The graphics are terrific as well as the music. The kind of game you can get lost in because of the graphics but enough good puzzles to keep you actively and enjoyably involved. I needed a walkthrough especially at the end puzzle so the intelligence of the game writers did a great job!!!

Amusing but questionable

I wrote a very negative review at first and I'll try and be more helpful. The graphics and idea are good but the humor is childish (and offensive for young players) and hard to find the right age group for this game. With the cleverness of the game I would have liked more involvement for the player. I felt like I was just watching and listening to a very good effort by the writers but not enough to do as a player. A lot of $$ for this.

BRILLIANT!!!

I agree with everything Peter said. I loved this game as a kid and this is almost better because you can play anytime and try to outdo yourself.

I like the fact that you can control the "intelligence" of the other players and choose how many people to play against.

And unlike the H/O games that playing twice is usually the limit before getting bored, this NEVER gets boring!

The gameplay, graphics and sound were ideal for the fabulous game of Clue.

They captured it perfectly!

The Hidden Object Show Season 2

BETTER BUT GLITCHES

I agree with Kathy that this is much, much better than the first version. The graphics are still kind of fuzzy and the objects are man-made looking which makes it hard to guess just what you're looking for. I had a few problems where the background music would stop during some levels but you could still play the game. It seems to happen when you pause or leave the game for a few minutes. Once I got an error message and half the screen was showing. It was actually kind of fun because you could see how the graphic artists actually put the screen together and I could get through the level. The game is nice and long which makes it worth the money.

ONE OF THE BEST H/O

This is just like Little Shop Treasure 2 and I think it's longer. It's great for a H/O game because of all the re-playability. GREAT GAME. No problems.

BETTER THAN TREASURE 2

This was similar but better than the last game. Things to find besides the objects are license plates, squirrels and question marks, so lots to do. If you love H/O games this is great because you have so many options for trophies after the game. It's long which makes it worth the money. My only problem was finding the question marks. Even with walkthrough help I can't them all. And you have to be fast.

ONE OF THE BEST YET

This game is fun, delightful, clever and totally absorbing. It's similar to Ankh but much more creative, funny and challenging. It's true that most of the game is done for you with the story line, (beautifully done) and the dialogue which does give you some options but makes it constantly engaging. The graphics are amazing. A lot of the puzzles are difficult I found and could not possibly have finished it without a walkthrough. But if you have the patience I do not have and think outside the box it's possible. Who would think to put a "smoking pipe" on a "bunch of wasps" in a "cereal bowl" on a "ledge" you don't even know is there. Brilliant!! The characters are great and likable so I had fun and found myself smiling and laughing which I've never experienced in a game. I LOVED IT!!!

The game is long which I love because like a good book you can hardly wait to get back to it.

Need Better Editors

The hidden objects portion was fairly easy but repetitious and the graphics not bad. The puzzles were a nice break but CAN'T do the word game to save my soul. Is something wrong with my mouse? The text drove me crazy. #1 I want to play a game not read an unneeded story. #2 The typos were too numerous to believe. Didn't like the sound. There was a buzzing that made me think I left something on in my kitchen. I realize these games need some theme but games like Madame Fate and Dream Chronicles work...not these forced attempts. Sorry, save your money.

IT'S ADDICTING!

This is FUN! The previous shopper sold me and I'm hooked as well. Even got my husband into this one. I usually like adventure or hidden objects but this takes agility and it's extremely clever and fast! You'll never get bored with this.

The Hidden Object Show

Long but really bad

The graphics were the worst yet in a hidden object game and the format was obnoxious. I wanted to strangle the guy who keeps saying "you rock". There were even misspellings of the objects. Some you couldn't recognize at all and even when the "hint" showed the item you still couldn't tell what it was. There are a lot of hints however and the game is long. So if you have nothing to do at all at night buy this until another Dream Chronicles or similar comes out.

Beautiful Place To Be

The puzzles were great! Some easy and some very hard but that's what makes it fun...and you can always get help from walkthroughs. Along with the clever puzzles my favorite aspect of the game are the incredible graphics and sound. The creators did an extraordinary job of making this a pleasant place to relax and use our brain. I almost hated to leave some of the scenes. So it's excellent to replay and also increase your score. Brilliant game! Make more like this especially for us forgotten Mac users.

NEAT DIVERSION

To be honest the story never has much bearing on just searching for objects. But, this game had the most cleverly hidden objects I've seen so far (and that's a lot). What I really enjoyed was the relaxing ending. YOU COULD EMPTY A ROOM! Something very satisfying about that when you've been pressured by the clock and then you can wind down with the epilogue and just enjoy yourself. I really commend the artists who created this game!

NOT ENOUGH

THE PUZZLES WERE TOO SIMPLE AND THE GAME LEADS TO BELIEVE YOU ARE OPENING UP OTHER WORLDS. HOWEVER, THERE ARE ONLY THREE SO THE DEMO IS REALLY ENOUGH. I COULD PLAY THE WHOLE GAME IN HALF AN HOUR. IT'S NOT THE KIND OF GAME YOU WOULD PLAY AGAIN BECAUSE THERE'S NOT ENOUGH TO CHALLENGE YOU. I HOPE THE SO CALLED ADDITIONS TO THE GAME ARE FREE BECAUSE IT'S NOT WORTH THE MONEY. LOT OF POTENTIAL WITH THE GRAPHICS BUT THAT'S IT.
