Vacation Adventures: Cruise Director 5

Great if you have a very large laptop screen*****

I'm not sure why I keep buying Casual Arts games.... they do not include a magnifying glass in their games, and it is impossible to find all the little bits they expect one to find. It's not fun just randomly clicking around the page to see if anything pops out of a pocket or out of the water. And I buy Hidden Object games to find hiudden objects, not be forced to waste 60-90 seconds before I can opt to skip a game I do not want to play.

My playing experience would be greatly improved if they added a magnifier and vastly reducd the forced wait for skipping the puzzles and such in between the scenes.

Detective Agency: Gray Tie Collector's Edition

I really like this one*****

Although many might find it not challenging enough, for me it was nice to have a very relaxing hidden object game with easier to find objects. I like this version much better than version 2.

Detective Agency: Gray Tie 2 Collector's Edition

Challenging*****

Much much more challenging than version 1... a bit too challenging for my tastes, but probably just right for others. The pictures are very dark which make it that much harder to find objects.

Way too hard to find objects!!*****

Very disappointing. But as I received it free as part of a promotion, at least I didn't waste any money on it.

I like this game, but*****

The trash is all but impossible to find all of. I don't buy games to fail at them, so I won't buy more in this series.

Solitaire Quest: Love Blossoms
 –

Too stressful and overly convoluted*****

Hard to tell the difference between the 6 and the 9 when they are tilted. The "tools" are too challenging— one has to predict how many might be needed, and they are only good for one use. For some reason, the last 5 to 10 cards in the deck have to be clicked multiple times to play. Don't know if it's a universal glitch or just on my laptop. Too often this has resulted in accidentally buying another 5 cards that I did not want or need. The gnomes are a bit too hidden. And the hidden object mini games? Too few for me and the silhouette level of those mini games are just impossible! I end up just clicking randomly everywhere until something happens.

This one is just too stressful for me. I cannot play cards that keep switching numbers AND burning cards AND ivy covered cards AND root covered cards AND locked cards all at the same time in the same hand!!! I've hidden this one so I don't accidentally open it.

Others might enjoy this kind of stressful challenges. And yes, I have it on easy and casual and the largest numbered card deck I can choose, and I still can't clearly see the cards. The constantly changing cards mean I also cannot plan out nice long runs. AND worst off there is no place I can go and read about all these challenges to learn a better way of taking them on.

For me it was not a good choice. Maybe it will be for you.
