Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Ultimate Edition
 –

Fun (but a little dated)

The best part of the game is how open it is. Each segment can be solved using a variety of strategies. The combination of the open maps, side missions, upgrade options, even the ability to shop for weapons make the game really engaging.

While the cutscenes and voice acting are good the rendering on the characters looks pretty surreal, especially when they speak. The enemy AI's are programmed to be kinda stupid but it certainly makes the game doable.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition
 –

Good action and strategy

This is a good game along with other Star Wars titles (Jedi Knight, Jedi Academy, Knights of the Old Repulic 1&2). As an actiom title, I like that you need to think creatively be beat the more challenging enemies and bosses. The one thing I don't like is that on boss levels, the camera switches from a third-person follow angle to a third-person stationary angle.

LIMBO
 –

Most Excellent!

This game is a great blend of action, problem solving and creepiness. Controls are very intuitive and yet allow for refined movements in order to get through the various obstacles.

Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition
 –

Excellent game

WARNING: If you play Arkham Asylum after Arkham City, you may find the gameplay a bit of a letdown. The combat system in Arkham City is easy to learn but allows for an incredible variety of techniques. The environment is extensive but getting around isn't cumbersome. Even with a contiguous storyline, you are able to complete various side tasks in a non-linear fashion. The challenge levels give the game a lot of replay value.

The Walking Dead
 –

Just as good as the show

The game is 80% interactive story and 20% action. The story is very good and forces the player to make the same kind of tough decisions that make the TV show great.

The Wolf Among Us (Telltale Key)
 –

Another great one from Telltale

Telltale has done a great job developing games around their interactive story engine. This has a compelling, comic-book feel. The dialogue choices allow the player develop the personality of the main character, Bigby. Action elements are well integrated into the storyline.

Gone Home

Charming

This is a good game for those looking for something compelling but not intense. The environment is mysterious but a little spooky.
