Rocket League®
 –

The most fun I've ever had online

This game is ridiculous. Not only is it super friggin fun, challenging, and competitive, it also has one of the best developers I've ever seen behind it giving constant free updates with things the community wants and cool new maps and gameplay modes. It's an anomaly in todays gaming world, and no matter your skill level it's always a blast, especially with friends.

Anomaly Warzone Earth

A small but fun game with an interesting idea

A very small game that introduced this somewhat original idea of reverse tower defense. Fun, and worth giving a shot considering the low asking price.

Really hard, kinda messed up, and a whole lot of fun

Top down shooter with a messed up story and really good and challenging level design.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown - Elite Edition
 –

One of the best strategy games of this generation

This game is not perfect, but it is certainly one to be reckoned with.

I've had massive amounts of fun with this game, and sunk more hours in than I should have. It's very satisfying, and the port is very well done. If you love any sort of strategy, this is a very approachable game, while also being very challenging.

There are some balancing issues, for one thing, Snipers are overpowered as all hell, but that becomes irrelevant when you come across a brand new alien. Other than that, I cant recommend this enough.

BioShock

Necessary for any gamer

This game is just something you have to experience. Everyone has to.

In short it is a solid shooter with a fantastic story, great art style and tone.

BioShock Infinite - Season Pass

Welcome Back to Rapture

While maybe a tad bit expensive, this is still very much worth your money if you care at all about this series.

Sid Meier's Civilization V: The Complete Edition
 –

Fantastic Entry in this series

If you know Civilization, then you know what to expect.

If you don't, this is a strategy game about building an empire and making it last, whether that be through conquest, technological superiority, diplomacy, etc. Very fun game that you can sink a lot of hours into.

QUAKE 4
 –

Solid shooter with replayibility

A good shooter with a decent enough story, and can be played through multiple times. Nothing out of the ordinary however.

Endless Space - Emperor Edition
 –

The micromanagement is real

This is a fantastic game, especially for someone who loves astronomy and the possibility of space travel/colonization. My only gripe is that in order to be successful you must micromanage like crazy.

Mount & Blade: Warband
 –

A bit rough around the edges, but overall a fun time

This is a big open world game with some outdated visuals, cool combat, and great immersion.

The Walking Dead: 400 Days
 –

More of the same

My opinion is the same as it was with the orignal game, it has a great story, but the object finding aspect just doesn't do it for me. It's a chore, not a game. If you enjoy point and click adventures, then get it, but if not, don't.

Guns of Icarus Online
 –

Teamwork is essential, and that isn't a bad thing for once

Guns of Icarus Online is the strangest, most original idea i've seen with a game before. Each match has you as part of a three man crew on a gunship, a mix between an old navy ship (I think they're called Corvettes? I have no idea), and a blimp. You and other ships on your team, will attempt to take down the opposing team's ships.
You can choose between three classes:
Engineer: someone who fixes the weapons and the parts of the ship
Gunner: The person who shoots the guns :p
Pilot: The person who pilots the ship

Make no mistake, these classes have very different jobs, and they are all very fun. Each captain/pilot chooses the type of ship and the guns that it has. There are many different types of guns and ships, ensuring that you will never get bored, though you do have to level up your classes in order to get some weapons and ships.

Speaking of leveling up, this game has the strangest way of doing that. In order to level up, you must get achievements that pertain to each class, as each class levels up seperatly. It's an interesting idea, and one that I like, as I like achievements.

Last thing, the community. Most team based games these days, in particular MOBA's have very "toxic" communities. I can safely say that you will find no such thing here. When I first started playing, there was never a lack of people who were teaching me about my different ammo options, how I should go about my duties, and they all did it in a very polite and helpful way.

SUMMARY: A great, team based game, with plenty of content. You can play this game for a very long time and not get bored. The community is very polite, and willing to teach and help.

DOOM 3
 –

Doom 3

I haven't played the first 2 doom games, but from what ive heard, this is a little different from its predecessors. This game has much more emphasis on lighting and horror than the previous games, and for me this is why its fantastic. This game is scary and it is a well made atmosphere, but it also has great combat and shooting, which is ID softwares specialty. It's hard to balance those two, but this game does it well. In summary this is a great horror/shooter, that is well worth the asking price.

Mafia II: Director's Cut
 –

Nice open world game, akin to GTA

Imagine if GTA was set in the post WWII America, and imagine if its characters were much more grounded and realistic. That's basically what this game is, and it is a lot fun.

Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

Still has the best lightsaber combat of any game

I can say it for days, there is nothing more satisfying than the lightsaber combat of the this game and its predecessor. I also like how this game gives more choice, as now you can choose which missions you want to do first and even skip a few.

Torchlight
 –

Fun little version of Diablo

I like the art style of this game, it certaintly doesn't lack in the looks department, but other than that its a standard hack and slash game.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition
 –

A great story, and the most empowering combat ever

The Force Unleashed is about the apprentice of Darth Vader, the time is somewhere in between the 3rd and 4th episodes of the movies. Throughout the game you go through his struggle between remaing loyal to his master, or listening to the words of the jedi he must destroy.

There has never been a game like this before, and that is due to both the story and the gameplay. The best part of the gameplay is the force powers that you have, as those empower you and just make you feel badass. That alone is an endless source of entertainment, and justifies buying this game.

I'm sorry to awkwardly put this at the end of the review. The game is great, and i meant that review wholeheartedly, but the version availabe here is a pain. It uses the GameAgent downloader, which is absolute garbage, and took me around 3 days to download when I can download larger files in an hour or two, and then on top of that, it downloads and older version of the game, instead of the newer one which is availabe at other places. I would like Aspyr to fix this ASAP.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
 –

Will go down in history as one of the best star wars games

This is such a great game, and maybe I have an inflated opinion of this game because i just love star wars, but i could see an outsider enjoying this game anyhow. The rpg elements are fantastic, there is a lot of character customization, there are many dialogue options and ways you can interact with the people that you meet and become friends, or enemies with. On top of all this it has a great narrative, and has a great cast of characters that each have unique and intersting stories, and also the best sith lord/jedi there ever was, Revan. The world isnt very usable, meaning that there are a lot of locations where there isnt much to do other than find people and talk to them which is kinda a bummer, but other than that, this game succeeds with everything it does.

Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
 –

Age is nothing but a number

This is game has succeeded in being relavent well after the average game lifespan. Even among PC gamers, this game is very popular and held in high regard because of the fantastic lightsaber combat and shooting. Its a real shame this franchise didnt continue, but im not going to complain too much because this game is very satisfying.

Spec Ops: The Line
 –

A provocative military shooter - who knew

I kept on hearing about how this game had a story unlike most military games these days, and I didnt believe people. I was wrong. Fun gameplay too, and nice graphics. Optimization for mac couldve been better, but it is still worth playing.
