Hacker Evolution Duality

A very challenging and angering title

Ive gotten pissed at this game so much, and yet I keep coming back to it. It is the kind of game that you just play for the challenge, even though the game itself might not be substantial.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

Such a great game

A beautiful game on my computer, and the usual non linear storytelling that cd projekt does. If you own a computer and don't have this series, you should get out of town.

Star Trek: D-A-C

It is what is says it is, but that isn't much

This is a fun arcade game, but it gets old very quickly, so keep that in mind. Considering the price, it's not bad.

Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta - Episode 1 - Gold Edition
 –

There is nothing enjoyable here

This is quite honestly the worst game I have played. Gameplay is clunky, unenjoyable, and boring. The story is atrocious and the same goes for the voice acting. There is nothing good associated with this game.

Spectraball: Extended Edition
 –

A fun platformed/puzzle game

For its price, this game is definitly worth it, the puzzles are fun and the visuals are very good for a game of this size.

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut
 –

Great, mature story with good RPG elements and average combat

The story is probably one of the most non linear and mature stories of that generation of games, and for that reason alone it is worth it. The combat can be boring, but the addition of the magical spells and different tactics you can use make it passable. Overall glad I picked this up.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
 –

The game that made Batman even more awesome

When this game came out, the popular Christopher Nolan movies were coming out ( i think the dark night came out near this game), and I loved those movies for the way they portrayed batman. He was a more serious superhero, and a dark one as well. That is my favorite part about him, and the movies capitalized on those traits, just as this game does. A good story, written by one of the best comic book writers ever, topped off with great stealth mechanics and cool gadgets, presents a real, dark, version of the batman, and it is awesome.

Fire & Forget

Boring and Repetitive

I played this game for about an hour, and even that much time was hard to bear. There isn't any depth to this game whatsoever, and the gameplay itself isn't even that fun.

Penumbra Collection

Scared the crap out of me, and an intriguing storyline as well

This game is very similiar to the amnesia games, and it is made by the same people as well (Frictional Games). They made this before the amnesia series, so it isn't as polished, however it is still full of scary moments and an intriguing story, so it is still worth your time.

Driver San Francisco
 –

One of the most realistic driving games out there

I really love this game, I think Ive started to play it more than FIFA, which is impressive. The best part about the game is the physics and mechanics of the driving, which are some of the most realistic ive seen, the story is meh, and so is the multiplayer, but the driving itself is worth your while by itself

FIFA Soccer 12
 –

Even two years later, its still fun to play

Im not going to lie and say that i don't want FIFA 13 or 14, but im still content with this. Sure the squads are outdated, but that isnt a minus, there are some players that aren't in FIFA 13 that I still want to use (Santino Quaranta for example), so it isnt all the bad. As for the gameplay, its a FIFA game, which means that its great. The only complaint that I had was that defenders constantly get caught not marking somebody or just going off into nowhere. Its almost funny how they run in a random direction, but this doesnt happen often enough to make the game bad.

The Walking Dead
 –

Great story, but gets rather boring after some time

I love the walking dead series, and I love the story in these episodes, but I wish they had made a game with more engaging and interesting gameplay, or even dialogue. Interesting dialogue rarely comes along becuase for a lot of the game you are just looking for items, and in some cases it takes FOREVER to find these items. It feels like a chore, rather than a fun activity, which makes it less of a game in my opinion.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Deluxe Edition
 –

A lazy attempt at a mac port

The game itself is fantastic, the only issue is the poor performance which is caused by a very poor mac port. This is a fine example of why companies like Aspyr and Feral Interactive exist. They know what they are doing, and they specialize in making games native to mac. Ubisoft does not, and this port suffers because of it. It seems like they just got lazy in the end and sputtered this out just to make money.

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition

Pure fun

This is a very good game, and I recommend it to people who are simply looking to have a good. It isn't big on hardcore emotional experiences or surreal graphics, but it does alright.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Ultimate Edition
 –

Simply amazing

It is very rare when a video game can change your opinion on a real life situation, and I think it's awesome when a videogame does this. Deus Ex: HR is different than any other game out there. Unlike most games, when you play the game, the objective isn't to just mindlessly kill people, the game forces you to think about the consequences of your actions, whether they be good or bad. The choices you make are not black and white also. I legitimately struggled choosing my actions during points of the story. Overall, this is one of the best games ever, and it's no wonder it receieved so many awards
