Silent Service 2

No documentation, no instructions, unplayable!

Do not waste a penny on this. I was hoping for some retro, old school play, but the game does not come with any documentation, so there is no way to know what does what.

Best version of this game I have found so far.

Brings back fond memories. Just like the board game. Simple to play, games go quickly, and still has some strategy challenges.

Might & Magic X - Legacy Deluxe Edition

Fun game

While it does have a few bugs, this is a very enjoyable, turn based RPG. It has enough flexibilty to make replays fun.

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut

Fun, fun, fun

The replayability of this game is awesome. A single decision can change everything, giving you entirely new challenges. If you liked Fallout, you will really like this one.

Endless Space - Emperor Edition
 –

If you liked Civ 3, you will enjoy this one.

A blend of Civ 3 and Masters of Orion 3. Plenty of choices for strategy, and a pretty good AI. The only thing I wished for was clearer documentation. I suspect that was because the original game was in French. If they had worked a little harder at clear translation, this one would be 5 stars.

Disappointed

Navigation is clumsy and movement is very jerky. After a couple of sessions, I got frustrated and a bit motion sick. Sorry I purchased this one. Too bad, because if it was easier and smoother to move around, this could have been a nice game.

Eschalon: Book III
 –

Fun, turn based game

I prefer turn based games, as they let you focus more on strategy and decisions than on reflexes. This one has some nice puzzles, and some challenging battles. By playing the game as "pure characters" (magic user, fighter, etc.), the strategies are different enough to make replaying with a different character a challenge. The ending is a bit strange, but better than the ending for Book II.
