I really enjoyed this game. The graphics were wonderful and the game played flawlessly. It's very similar to other games in this genre, but different enough to have it's own personality. Plus it's L.O.T.R., so it's got a great starting point and back story. Recommended.
Reminds me of my days playing SimTower all those years ago. Gameplay easy enough to understand (though I've yet to play on the "Hard" settings), and graphics look pretty cool. Doesn't seem to be processor heavy at all, which is also good. It can get a bit repetative towards the end, and they do need to have more (or better) maintenance crews, but still a very enjoyable game none the less.
I purchased this game while it was on a recent sale. Even though my computer specs weren't supported (I have a new 15" MacBook Pro) I thought I'd try it anway as the price was good. I've experienced no problems at all with my cities (100k + population) so far. No crashes, lag or anything. I did turn some of my graphics settings down however.
The game itself is fantastic - What the latest SimCity SHOULD'VE been, but wasn't. The graphics and gameplay are both great. Very enjoyable! Some of the unlocks and achievements are quite difficult, but worthwhile doing.
The modding and map creation are also great.
If you have doubts whether your system or machine might not run this game but you still want to try it I would say wait until the next big sale. Just in case.
This game reminds me of arcade shooters from the 1990's. Nothing fancy, but solid none the less. All you need to worry about is pointing and shooting. That's it! Not a game for long extended plays but fun enough to go back to every now and again.
If you're into micro-management then this is a game for you. Worked flawlessly on my setup (17" MacBook Pro) but then this is not a processor-hungry game at all. I had hours of fun playing but much of it, as you'd expect, can be quite repetitive "rinse-and-repeat" stuff. Still, a great game to play in my opinion.
A great period-style city sim game from a small independent developer. I agree that this game can be a little repetitive at times but that's the nature of city sim games. Still, I enjoyed playing it and it's well worth the money.
I had a ton of fun playing this navy sim game. The graphics, though a little cartoony, work well enough and the game played fine on my machine (17" MacBook Pro). The were some challenging parts but a aircraft carrier, or three, usually made things a bit easier.
A detailed WW2 navy sim game. It was great reliving some of the greatest naval battles in history and the graphics were quite decent.
Again, aircraft carriers proved their worth as they were able to send off waves of planes which could severly damage, or sink, enemy ships long before their guns came into firing range on your ships. In some campaigns I loaded up heavily on carriers and was able to sink the entire enemy navy before they could even reach my ships. It almost made it too easy!
Definitely recommend - especially if you're into naval battles!
Definitely the best Hitman game I've played. Graphics are great and the missions are a lot of fun. The choice as to whether you want to do your hits on the quiet or go in with guns a blazing is entirely up to you! Both methods have their merits and help to ensure that repeat playthroughs extend the enjoyment.
I had (almost) zero trouble while playing this game. It did crash once but it wasn't a problem as I had not long saved. I love the completely open world of Sims 3 and the two addon packs extended the fun by heaps.
Grab this one while it's on special. Highly recommended!
Disregard everything else (for a week or two at least) while you're playing this great game! The Sims always rock, but Sims 3 takes things to a whole new level!
Extends gameplay no end. Sure it gets a bit expensive with all the DLCs but if you're into the Sims then you won't mind or complain. And who doesn't want to be a celebrity after all?
