Campfire Legends - The Hookman
 –

Simple Fun Story

Simple puzzel game, the artwork is nice and the story is interesting. Could stand to be a little longer, but I recieved this as a free gift with another purchase so I can't complain. Worth playing, but doesn't have a lot of replay value.

The Walking Dead
 –

Tell Tale is an awesome series

Tell Tale games made another fantastic game, based on the popular series, The Walking Dead. While not a fan of the show going into it, I loved the storyline and game play of this game. Had some slight issues running it on an older machine (2011 Mac Book Pro.) but a simple reinstall took care of those no problem. Fantastic game, nice art style and lots of fun with a group play through, or solo. Beware of the feels.

Mount & Blade: Warband
 –

Best medieval simulator I've encountered

This game is amazing. Set in a medieval fantasy world, it does not hold true to history per say, but instead focuses on the inner workings of social interaction, economic interaction, and military interaction between nobility in a midieval setting. The game sets you into the world as a sword for hire. As you roam around the land, you slowly begin to hire soldiers to fight for you, make a name for yourself, make enemies and allies, and earn the right to rule castles towns and eventually, make a grab for a throne. It has fantastic gameplay, with a mix of Hack and Slash, RPG, Medieval Simulator and Real Time Strategy. I truly love the game's attention to detail in the political workings of a medieval country and the choices presented in the game flow. Fantastic game all around! I've had it for a while now and loved every minute of it.

Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition
 –

Time to cause some carnage

It's that wonderful time of the year again: Carnage time. A futuristic RPG and FPS, Borderlands 2 has fantastic game play, a fun story and more than enough carnage to satisfy most people interested in seeing the world burn. Great multiplayer game, and a lot of fun solo as well. I love this game and it's a great way to just kick back, have fun and watch everything around you go up in flames.

Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series (Telltale Key)
 –

You Win or you Die...

A classic line from Game of Thrones which rings true in this canon game by Telltale Games. This game has been one of my favorites ever. It's use of simple graphic style allows Telltale Games to truely emerse you in the world of Game of Thrones and the storytelling is fantastic. If you're looking for a hack & slash, this is not your game, but if you are looking for incredible story, dynamic characters, beautiful gameplay, and to feel the same gut-wrenching sorrow you feel at every turn of the page in Game of Thrones, then this is your game.

Strike Suit Zero
 –

Beautiful Game

Strike Suit Zero is absolutely beautiful. A futuristic setting, space flight, dog-fighting style game, SSZ throws you into the pilot seat of a spacefaring oneman fighter, set to distroy your enemy in a series of incredible flight simulation battles for control of space.

The gameplay is wonderful, flying throughout the maps in a personal fighter. Where the true gift of this game lies however is in the sheer stylistic beauty. I sometimes find myself just flying off into space to explore or becoming mesmerised by the images of planets and stares that form the battle maps. While not super graphics intensive, the images and look of the game are a splendor to see. Couple that with some awesome space battles and a great soundtrack and you got yourself an amazing game.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
 –

Fun Hack and Slash

For what is it, Chivarly is a fun game. You're pitted against other players (or bots for offline games) in a medieval times Fight Club (#1 Rule, Don't Talk About Fightclub.) It varies from other street fight style games in the fact that for the first time, you have a online multiplayer game set in the middle ages, which allows both small duels and larger battles. All in the first person, this game has a really interesting concept and is just fun to toy around with, hacking your opponents to pieces. While many games do not always portray medieval combat accurately, Chivalry has taken a step in the right direction and has opened the flood gates for more games to begin taking Western Combat seriously in thier game design.

BioShock Infinite
 –

Fun game...

Review Contains Mild Spoilers about game design:

BioShock Infinite is a fun FPS but lacks some of the original shine of Bioshock. It has a lot of fun game play elements and is super visually stunning with a creative world design and well designed storyline. My only complaint is the lack of any effect of moral choices. They present you with different choices, but the outcome is the same regardless.

Lugaru HD
 –

Fun and challenging

Lugaru has a pretty basic graphics design, but it a really fun physical brawler... Storyline's not great but running around as a rabbit who beats the snot out of other rabbits makes up for that. It's fun and has a really nice combat system...

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
 –

Great Game

ACB is a great game. Has a nice balance of mission style and free world play. Fun story, interesting combat system and a lot more fun than the first AC game, which was super repetitive.

Crow
 –

Crow is one of those rare gems

Crow is one of those rare gems that come along once in a while. A beautiful setting, and really unique gameplay design. A simple story of a demon crow out to win it's freedom, the game draws you into a fantastic fantasy medieval world, with a simple story, simple but amazing gameplay and a beautiful artistic design.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North
 –

Fun hack and slash...

LotR: War in the North is a fun hack and slash with a simple RPG element. It's delves into the world created by Tolkien, but also ties into the films to remain accesible to a modern player. It's a fun game, with a nice but simple story and good gameplay when you just want to start hacking up orcs and other evil beasts.

Metro: Last Light
 –

Blew me away...

This game was amazing. From the very start, even when not running it on the highest settings, the world and artistic design are just stunning. There's a great story, continuing from where the first Metro game left off and following the story of the survivors of the war against the Dark-Ones. The game challenges the players in ways outside a standard FPS and blends story, world creation and gameplay wonderfully. I loved it the first time I played it and I still love it 5 gameplays later.
