Fun ... but getting handed down
I've kept this game at 4-stars becasue it is fun to play. I still recommend it but will be handing it down to my middle school son.

![]() | – Enjoyable, fun ... but looking for moreAs with my reviews of other games of this series, this is a fun game that I wholeheartedly give four stars. As a lover of strategy, operational and tactical games, I found the game to lack in areas of depth. As I played, it was a throwback to games I loved to play but I kept finding myself wanting more! by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Dec 12th 2015

![]() | – Fun but getting handed downAfter playing this game foar a little longer I realized that it was not quite as good as I thought it was at first. It is still a great game that is enjoyable to play but I found that some of the gameplay itself was lacking. I like to have more ease of control and the interface lacked that for me. I also like to have more flexibility than the game allowed. All that said, it is still fun to play and I would still recommend it. I will be handing it down to my middle school son, however. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Dec 12th 2015

![]() | – Nice upgrade to a great gameThe updating if Vicky 2 is great. Changing (updating) the dynamics of gameplay is critical to being a more accurate and fun game. Thye complexities are not overwhelming but changes make it more intersting to play. Worth getting. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Dec 3rd 2015

![]() | – Great expansion!I like the addition of the Vikings into the game. The more diversity in choices of characters to play the better. This one gives an intersting twist to the base game that makes it even more fun! Worth getting. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Dec 3rd 2015

![]() | – Great upgrade! This updating if Vicky 2 is fantastic! The evolving dynamics of gameplay makes this a more more accurate and, for me, a more fun game. While the complexities are still not overwhelming, the changes make it more challenging and fun to play. Wwll worth the upgrade! by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Dec 3rd 2015

![]() | – Perfection! This is my favorite of the Civ games to come along! I've played them all from the beginning and the full version with all of the expansions with the new civilizations makes this an even more challenging and fun game to play. I especially love the ability to mod to set the stage of a game just the way I want to play. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Nov 30th 2015

![]() | – Like the board game, Love the GameI always loved the boad game Risk. This is a great trnslation of the game into the digital age. It is fun to play and has the obvious option of playing solo — something you can't really do on a game board! by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Nov 30th 2015

![]() | – Great Game!!!Continuing in the same vein as previous versions, this remains one of the standards for strategy at the global level for this era of history. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Nov 30th 2015

![]() | – Great fun! This game is great fun for sea simulation folks. It can be somewhat challenging to initially get the hang of playing it, but it is great once that task is overcome. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Nov 30th 2015

![]() | – Intersting, but ...The game is fine on the surface (thus a 4-star rating) but it is a little too simplistic. That can be fun, too, but don't think you're going to be playing any kind of deep strategy game. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Nov 30th 2015

![]() | – Classic & fun!The Civ family of games is always great. This is no exception. It is easy to learn and hard to master. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Nov 30th 2015

![]() | – Love Sim City, like this oneHaving played every Sim City since the early days, I have great expectations for new versions. This was a welcome version but it wasn't all that I wanted. Certain elements of the game didn't have the "classic" feel I enjoyed with older versions although the graphics are superb. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Nov 30th 2015

![]() | – Love trainsAs a railfan and a strategy game fan, I expected much from this game ... and got much of it. While the game is fun to play, it lacks some of the feel of some previous classic railroad games. Nonetheless, the graphics are decent and the gameplay keeps it interesting. by Karl F. ![]() | – Fun ... but not easyBraid is fun to play but it requires more brain cells than many other games of its type. Be ready to be challenged. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Nov 30th 2015

![]() | – Fun but not easyI initially bought this for my "tweener" who enjoyed it but it didn't take long to get frustrated. The building tools aren't easy to figure out - thus 4 vs 5 stars. Once he got the hang of it, he loves to play it. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Nov 30th 2015

![]() | – Loved it then, love it nowOk, in fairness, this game is just how I remembered it years ago ... and that's exactly what I like about it. No fancy modern graphics but as a "mother" game of realistic physics it is a classic worthy of a replay or two. by Karl F. Davie Burgdorf, USA - Nov 30th 2015
