Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Under the Crimson Moon Icon
Colorful scenes & interesting puzzles
by BorisBee, USA - Dec 31st 2018

My least favorite part of any of these games is the hidden object scenes. I prefer the puzzles. However, the colorful graphics really bring the hidden object scenes to life and make them more enjoyable. I also thought the puzzles were interesting and different from similar games like this one.

Imaginative world to explore

Not only do you get to interact with dragons in this game, but the graphics and the sites are well done and interesting. Puzzles were fun and game play overall enjoyable!

Lots of Game Play
by BorisBee, USA - Dec 22nd 2018

There are two ways to play this game (from the vantage point of either of two characters), so I'm excited to play the game again from the viewpoint of the character I didn't choose the first time around. I enjoyed the setting and the puzzles. There was more cut movie-style scenes than I usually prefer, but all in all this was a pretty solid adventure game.

This game has a lot of excellent reviews for a reason. It's a solid, fun adventure game with enjoyable puzzles and game play. I will be checking out more games from this company.

Samorost 3 Icon
Uniquely imaginative
by BorisBee, USA - Dec 22nd 2018

I tried this game out because I really enjoyed a few of their other games. It really makes you have to think a bit outside of the box. Graphics were good, but blacked out in some parts until received an update and it played okay after that. I'll probably play it again at some point since I was more in the mood for different types of puzzles rather than an inventive world where I have to make things happen with this character. But overall a very unique and low-key enjoyable game.

Christmas Stories: A Little Prince Collector's Edition Icon
Best holiday themed game!
by BorisBee, USA - Dec 15th 2018

NEW COMMENT: I purchased the game and was not disappointed. A bonus game is included at the end, and I found it fun "collecting" the various puzzle pieces and finding all the extras in each environment.

I played the demo of this game and will definitely be purchasing based on what I've played so far. So many of the hidden object or adventure games with puzzles today have some sort of mystery you have to solve, some if not lots of gore or some evil you have to destroy, with grim settings, etc. I love this game due to it being a breath of fresh air from those typical games of this genre. It gives you a magical holiday feel, with colorful settings, a lot of game play (rather than watching cut scene after cut scene), and even though the puzzles seem more on the easy side, the demo immersed me enough to enjoy wanting to purchase it. And btw, at the main menu, there appear to be a lot of extras you can unlock (including a bonus game) with the collector's edition. Wish MORE games would be like this and not so focused on the dark, mystery, murder-solving crime sprees like most out there.

PuppetShow™: Poetic Justice Collector's Edition Icon
Interesting games but a lot of cut scenes
by BorisBee, USA - Dec 15th 2018

I played the demo of this in anticipation of purchasing it since I have enjoyed several of the other puppet theatre games, but this one felt like I spent more time watching animated cut scenes than actually playing the game. But what might make it worth it are some of those games - there are interactive hidden object scenes (so not just simply clicking on things you have to find within a setting), match 3 (if you are a fan of that game), and not only puzzles but fun interactive mini games, one example being like you are looking at a game board with moving pieces, and you have to try to sneak past ghouls without being seen, yet have to collect things before your escape (like obtaining a toolbox before you can repair a bridge to get past a couple of the ghouls). Those kind of mini games, if there are more in this game, might just make it worth watching all of the cut scenes (which of course, you can skip, but if I purchase a game, I like to enjoy the majority of the story as well).

Airport Madness 3D: Volume 2 Icon
Could get addicting...but stressful too!
by BorisBee, USA - Dec 7th 2018

This was a free game with another game purchase, and it's not a game I would ever normally buy, however, it was hilarious to play, as there's no way one individual would be responsible for THAT many planes! So of course I caused unfortunate crashes as I was trying to figure out the different angles and keystrokes (too many to keep track of). But fun for something different than I usually play (which are more adventure/puzzle games).

Weird Park: Scary Tales Icon
Really a 3.5
by BorisBee, USA - Dec 6th 2018

These Weird Park games have amazing visuals, but the first two lack in the entertainment that the third one had. You're not really sure half the time why you're doing stuff, only that you need such and such for something. It's only when you obtain whatever object that you then understand what you need to do with it (but sometimes not until you move around and realize what it could be used for). Some of the puzzles were challenging (the KEY puzzle in particular!!), and the hidden object scenes were a bit amped up from the original game in adding a bit more interaction, but would have preferred either less hidden object scenes or more interaction within those. However, this IS a hidden object game, so as such, it's a good game in that it provides more than just the simple hidden object scenes - and a LOT of game play. I enjoyed the fairy tale themed scenes. Overall enjoyable. But the third one is the best!

Weird Park: Broken Tune Collector's Edition Icon
Not as fun as the Final one
by BorisBee, USA - Dec 6th 2018

I purchased this game after having played the final Weird Park game, which I thought was challenging yet fun. Not a big fan of the hidden object sections where you have to find things, this one had quite a few of them, but not only that, you had to go back to the same ones THREE times. They weren't even interactive (where you have to find the key to then unlock something, etc.). They were just simply click on what is listed. I found a couple of the puzzles quite challenging, and that's saying a lot since I'm usually pretty good at those (and those are what I play these games for in the first place), yet still they weren't as entertaining as the 3rd game in this series. Still worth the play if you're into the hidden object scenes and, of course, the graphics in the scenes were well done.

Memoria Icon
Imaginative and realistic
by BorisBee, USA - Nov 22nd 2018

Memoria was not only interesting and fun to play, it made you think of what you'd actually do in a situation if you only had so many available tools. I really appreciated that aspect of it, as most games just have you clicking on stuff that makes no sense, or using tools in a way you'd never use them in reality. So it was easy to immerse oneself more into the game.

Witches' Legacy: Slumbering Darkness Icon
Enjoyed many elements of this game!
by BorisBee, USA - Mar 5th 2018

I'm not a huge fan of hidden object games (prefer more puzzles) but this game made the hidden object scenes a little more engaging, as well as having a little helper throughout the game. Was very enjoyable.

Mystery Castle: The Mirror's Secret Icon
Great environments but not many puzzles
by BorisBee, USA - Mar 5th 2018

I'm one who prefers more puzzles than hidden object finds, and this game favored the hidden object above puzzles, and what few puzzles they had weren't very challenging. That said, the scenes were great and it was entertaining to play nonetheless.

Lilly Looking Through Icon
Cute, but not as fun as...
by BorisBee, USA - Mar 3rd 2018

Game is cute and I enjoyed the idea of present and future enviros, but it wasn't as enjoyable to me as Machinarium or The Tiny Bang Story, which are similar in terms of play.

PuppetShow™: The Price of Immortality Icon
Thoroughly enjoyable!
by BorisBee, USA - Mar 3rd 2018

From the steam punkish atmosphere to the fun (albeit not-too-challening) puzzles, I found this wholly entertaining from start to finish.

Lost Lands: The Golden Curse Icon
Good balance of puzzles and adventure
by BorisBee, USA - Mar 3rd 2018

I appreciate these games that aren't all just about finding hidden objects within one scene. This is more an adventure moving throughout different environments, using & combining objects to compel the story forward. It was well done and kept me engaged.

Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows Icon
Fun action and adventure
by BorisBee, USA - Mar 3rd 2018

I loved the idea of being able to choose different courses of direction (in terms of responses the character makes), and LOVED the shooting gallery style portion of the game. Much better than just a typical hidden object. There should be a different category for games like this one, as I think they'd be more relevant in adventure rather than hidden object.

Entertaining enough
by BorisBee, USA - Feb 24th 2018

Not as much fun as some of the other PuppetShow games, but still fun and entertaining enough to make it worth playing.

Nancy Drew: Sea of Darkness Icon
A bit too much dialogue
by BorisBee, USA - Feb 12th 2018

Was really excited to play this since it was based in Iceland, however there was a bit too much dialogue for my taste. Seemed I was going back and forth and having to talk with people over and over again. Guess I'm just the type who's more interested in solving puzzles than the social atmosphere of a game.
