Rage: Campaign Edition
 –

Played on the PS3

I had this game on the PS3 but honestly it runs better on my MBP 13" (w/ Intel HD 3000 & 16GB RAM). Shooting mechanics are tight however driving may annoy some as its a bit too arcadey and the AI does rubber band sometimes. But overall, the shooting segments are top notch. What else can we expect from the grandfathers of FPS?

Prince of Persia

A different vibe

This is a totally different vibe of the good ol' PoP franchise. the first 3 were more mature and dark both in theme and artstyle, but this is a totally different game. More emphasis on colour and exploration. I personally love the art style and the 1-on-1 combat works better than the difficulty of facing numerous enemies at once in previous games. But the parkour is a bit too simplistic compared to the previous titles. If you are on the fence about it, get it on sale!

XCOM: Enemy Within
 –

An expansion rather a whole a new game

Adds a bunch of new stuff to the game such as Mechs, MELD and a few other things. Would be more worth it to get it discounted. Doesn't change much to the core game but XCOM is already an amazing game on its own right but Enemy Within is the icing on top!

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut

Old school reincarnation

If you miss the days of the first few Fallouts or Baldurs Gate, this is right up your alley. Wonderful consequential storyline where decisions actually matter down the line. Would highly recommend this to anyone

Star Wars: Empire at War

Working perfectly

I'm on a MBP 13" running 10.10.1 and it runs perfectly. This game has so much depth and a RTS set in the Star Wars universe, what more would you want?

BioShock
 –

A classic

What can I say about Bioshock that has not already been said? Surrealistic atmosphere, excellent combat, a deep story and excellent mechanics.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown - Elite Edition
 –

Deep enriching game

If you have missed old school hardcore games, this will satiate your appetite. Its difficult without being too unfair, your reserouces have to be spent wisely, you can't spread your squad too thin, squad members are on a perma-death basis and combat is simple to pick up but difficult to master. Loving it!

BioShock 2
 –

Still a great game

Albiet not as intriguing as the first, Bioshock 2 puts you in the shoes of a Big Daddy. Don't expect a world of difference but the combat does change a bit. Still a good game in its own right and would highly recommend to anyone that wants a good FPS to play.
