Europa Universalis IV: Emperor
 –

Emperors new style

A good DLC for EU 4, not a must have, but adds some extra flavour in Europe. Would not recommend purchasing at full price.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire - Obsidian Edition
 –

Another solid title

Obsidian have done a great job as always with their D&D series.

Would definetely recommend picking up both Pillars of Eternity 1 & 2, which will last you many hours. The Obsidian edition is not a must, but with the small difference in price, it would be worth picking it up now rather than later.

Stellaris: Ancient Relics Story Pack
 –

More to do

Good DLC on a discount (50%). Would not pick up at RRP, as most of the Paradox DLCs are overpriced.

Great little addition to the Stellaris DLC collection.

Sid Meier's Civilization V: Brave New World
 –

Great just got better

One of the expansions to Civilazation V, which improves upon the base game, and is seen as a must have for CIV lovers and turned based lovers out there.

Experience this Brave new world and the complete CIV experience.

Imperator: Rome
 –

Still ways to go

When Imperator Rome launched it felt very empty with missing features and with little replayability.

Now some time after its release with Paradox updates it is shaping up to be something more than the disappointed launch that we were left with.

The title still has more improvements that needs to be done (Mega cities fix). But hopefully with more love from the great company that is Paradox, we will see more of Imperator in the future.

Rating 3.6/5

Hearts of Iron IV
 –

Worthy successor

Hearts of iron 4 is Paradox most played strategy game with thousands of daily players. This is due to the large amount of DLCs that improves upon the game, and is still getting released each year.

But the base game experience without any DLCs is feeling a bit empty due to minor nations not having any special focus trees and left out features.

If you invest more into HOI 4 with all the paid DLCs you will have a great experience, but with only the base game, there is a limit to what you can do.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI: Platinum Edition
 –

CIV 6 is here to stay

CIV 6 is the successor to the great CIV 5. People from the earlier series will be at home here, but there are still many new features that needs to be learned.

This time the graphics are more cartoony and you will be accompanied by Sean Beans narrative during the ages, which adds much to the feeling of the game.

As with CIV 5, the DLCs are really a must have, with Gathering Storm being your first priority. With more nations, leaders and natural wonders to discover, CIV 6 should be on your next stop!

Faraxis have also released the new Season pass for CIV 6, with new leaders and scenarios and more free updates coming through 2020 and 2021.
