The Eyes of Ara
 –

Very nice game!

I am surprised being the only one who rated this game here. That must be because I realized afterwards that the game had been developed on Steam as well, which may have captured most of the players.

Since the very first frames of the game you will understand that this is a beautiful game.
The puzzles are rather easy at the beginning but get more and more difficult as the game unfolds. Fortunately there are some walkthroughs available on the net.

There are also some pieces to be collected (coins, pics, paintings and figurines) which are not essential to the game play but may incite playing the game again, to see if more can be found. I certainly will play it again in a few months woith pleasure!

Frankenstein: Master of Death
 –

More a hidden object game than adventure

This game starts pretty good: you need to find something somewhere else to progress where you want to go. But after a few places the game becomes quite repetitive. Of courses the spots change, but you aways need to collect 3 such items to assemble and progress here and there. For those who like hidden object games, than you will not be disappointed.

The Travels of Marco Polo
 –

A series of mini puzzles

This game is a series of mini puzzles independent one from the next one. The story of Marco Polo's travels makes the squeleton of the « story ». Good game to spend a few (not more) hours during a lazy afternoon.

The Perils of Man
 –

One of the best games I've played recently

I am surprised being the first one to add a review here.... maybe due to the 64 reviews that are on Steam...

I played this game on the iPad and bought it again for the iMac. The story is interesting, the characters are very good, the English accent is fabulous, the scenes are very nicely rendered, a very beautiful game. I will play it again in a few with the same pleasure.

Subject 13
 –

Good game but short

Only 5 or 6 places to explore make it a rather short game. The description talks about puzzles of increasing difficulty and that is true. Some puzzles are driven by hazard, that is they will change each time you play them. Sometimes you need to act on inventory items in an unconventional way. But all in all it is a real Adventure game.
