Lost Secrets: November 1963
 –

Lags horribly

Lags so badly I lost interest after 2 minutes...Mac exceeds all requirements. Luckily just demo so money wasted

Youda Fairy
 –

Nothing like pictured

The graphics are nothing like those shown (downloaded demo) and the cursor is doubled and slightly apart which makes trying to play the game a non-starter...one is the game cursor and one the system cursor...

Magic Encyclopedia 2: Moon Light
 –

Froze imac

Like the other reviewers, I had just loaded the demo, got as far as the intro screen and it froze my machine...didn't even bother trying again...uninstall..luckily not spent money on it. And yes, mac meets/exceeds all requirements.

Tropical Farm
 –

Child's game

I would have to agree with previous reviewer...this would appeal more to kids graphics and tasks wise...the demo was more than enough for me...kills a bit of time but after the first few levels it gets repetive and old. I may not be doing it justice as I have no idea how later levels pan out but I have a feeling it's the same.

Nearwood Collector's Edition
 –

Only played the demo but..

This is a great little game, the graphics are lush, the story engaging, the puzzles range from relatively easy to reasonably hard without being mind-numbingly difficult and overall it's a good mixture of puzzles and HO...probably a good game to play if you have kids though I suspect they would need help on some of the puzzles

My Farm Life
 –

Fast paced fun

This is a great farming game, fast-paced and fun, the graphics/animations are good and there's an interesting mix of tasks and mini-games that really vary the action...can imagine its got replayability in buckets...highly recommend, especially at this price

Alice in Wonderland Extended Edition
 –

Truly dreadful

Tedious, humdrum, repetitive....I can find nothing good to say about this game...the graphics are nothing like those represented in the images above and the objects in the HO scenes require a large amount of guesswork as they are so small and indistinct....a dreadful game that should probably not have seen the light of day...can't think of anyone it would appeal to but a shame as they could have made a great children's ho game...my advice is avoid...or download the demo and see for yourself....I gave it 10 minutes before I couldn't be bothered to carry on

Runaway With The Circus
 –

Hard to remain interested in it

Downloaded the demo, did three locations and decided to give it up as a bad job. You end up randomly clicking areas or small dark objects that are too indistinct to make out as the graphics in the HO scenes are really dreadful.

Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows
 –

Great game

Not your average ho game, this has adventure and battles and decisions to be made, will keep you guessing and the mini puzzles and ho scenes are nicely balanced while still being challenging, really great graphics and sharp storyline with an added bonus of speaking characters that don't make you want to hit the mute button...highly recommend it

A Vampire Tale
 –

Pretty terrible

Have to agree with all the previous reviewers, it does get tedious and the HO scenes are hard only in that the graphics are not good enough for you to see whether you're actually clicking on something or just a fuzzy patch, the labels for things are sloppy so you either can't see the objects or you're guessing what they mean from the label. HO scenes aside it really is just jumping from HO to minigame with a poor excuse of a storyline in between. I've played better HO for half the price.

Namariel Legends: Iron Lord
 –

Not a bad little game

Considering the price it's hard to get annoyed at how short it is...no replayability though, enjoy it while it lasts...no bonus content but the graphics are very nicely done and the animated scenes very good..what is confusing is that even after finishing the game there are still achievements which you haven't got...one in particular which is impossible as you have no interaction with the queen...on looking it up it turns out this part of the game is only available in the premium edition...hard to fathom then why it's in the standard edition...all in all a nice game but does leave you feeling a little short-changed.

Elementary My Dear Majesty!
 –

Boring

The colours were overly bright, enough to put your teeth on edge...navigation was indeed quite clunky...probably fun for children but hard to engage in.

Delicious - Emily's Tea Garden
 –

Addictive gameplay but...

Downloaded the demo..great game, very fun to play but not sure any of the 'delicious' games are worth the $20 price tag...especially given that this game is over 6 years old..and the graphics certainly show it

Death Under Tuscan Skies: A Dana Knightstone Novel CE
 –

Interesting enough game

Interesting if a little slow, not so hard that you'll give up in frustration nor too easy that you lose interest, but ultimately my feeling is it's not worth the $20 price.

World Riddles: Secrets of the Ages
 –

Nice but boring

Mingle the two previous reviews and it pretty much sums it up. To begin with you're interested in solving the puzzle (I use the singular term as it is the same puzzle over and over with increasing difficulty levels..think sudoku but with blocks)...after the first hour you'll be bored...buy it if you like sudoku like puzzles don't if you're looking for any variety in your puzzle games...

Dark Parables: The Final Cinderella Collector's Edition
 –

It really is...Okay

Can't say I thoroughly enjoyed it...it was an okay HO game though far too easy, but in my honest opinion not that great and probably not worth the $14 price tag...didn't really grip me and the demo was enough...

Abandoned: Chestnut Lodge Asylum
 –

Not that great

Have to agree with the other reviewers for this game, dark and fuzzy objects, difficult to see at times, not that engaging game play.

Shiver: Moonlit Grove Collector's Edition
 –

Looks like a good game but

..the cursor only shows as the system cursor so no hand etc, no change for interactive areas, so you're left randomly clicking on everything because there's nothing to let you know what anything is..shame as the graphics are not bad and the game itself looks interesting..overpriced though at $20

Aladin and the Enchanted Lamp - Extended Edition
 –

Not such a 'thrilling' adventure

The graphics are a bit pixellated, the hidden object scenes are very simple and just playing the demo felt repetive and boring, but filled an hour...would I buy it? No...there are better HO games out there than this.

Eschalon: Book III
 –

Not a patch on Eschalon I or II

Rather disappointed in this the third instalment of the Eschalon series. The first two have replayability, this one, not only appeared shorter but felt like I was going over the same old ground..the ending came so suddenly and quickly that I wondered if I'd taken a shortcut somewhere and missed a huge chunk of the game.
