Diner Mania
 –

Gets boring and repetitive very quickly

The basic concept is 4 restaurants where you do the same things over and over again, there is no variation apart from the food you serve changes and small cosmetic details of the restaurants change..apart from that it's serve and repeat, serve and repeat. It's a shame as the concept of serving the good guys getting rid of the bad guys is a good one and they could have done so much more with this but lazyness obviously won the day here. Bought for under $2 otherwise would not have bothered. There's very little to keep you engaged.

New Yankee in King Arthur's Court
 –

Very short and easy

Would recommend buying either of the other two yankee titles as they're more difficult to complete, like another reviewer said this can be done and dusted in a short time, there's no achievements to complete which with the other two games can have you replaying and completing levels in different ways in order to get the achievements. Also there's no way to change the difficulty levels.

Northern Tale
 –

Both northern tale games great

This a super enjoyable game, challenging enough to frustrate at time at trying to get the level in gold time, good in that it has 3 different levels of difficulty and replayability in trying to get all the achievements, though 2 despite re-playing any number of times still alude me. Would highly recommend. Only gripe, is Macgamestore's inability to label the genre of games correctly, this is a time management game as are any other amount of games listed as puzzle/match3/action/adventure...makes it very frustrating when you're looking for a specific genre and you end up having to search through all of them...

Mystic Emporium
 –

Unplayable

I can't complain too much as I got it as part of a bundle but as quite a few of the games are unplayable its annoying in the extreme. Worth noting it does not work with yosemite, though even before I upgraded I couldn't get it to launch

Torchlight II
 –

Very good indeed

Great game, can't recommend highly enough, though beware if you leave it too long when you go back you'll have lost sight of what you were up to. Almost too much non-specific loot and pretty hard to get matched sets which provide good bonuses. But hugely open-ended with masses of bonus levels at end and the ability to restart the game at your current level once you've finished.

Merscom Blowout Bundle

Some interesting games but...

...unfortunately due to upgrade to Yosemite, most of them unplayable. But if you're running an older os it's a bargain!

Iesabel
 –

I really wanted to like it but..

I just cannot get on with this game..the screen is messy in the extreme the graphics way too busy and the quality pretty awful. Difficult clunky movement...the list goes on..gave it a good go a couple of times but just grew bored and frustrated with it and haven't touched it since...there's better games out there and this one isn't one of them in my opinion.

Royal Envoy Collector's Edition
 –

Quality TM

All the Royal Envoy titles are well worth the money and the replayability factor is high. Add to that the bonus levels for the odd dip-in with the Collector's Edition and it's well worth it.

Fun game

This is a very fun timemangement game with some differences. I'm using yosemite and have had no trouble with the game in terms of bugs or being unable to proceed. All works fine. The game itself is simple but not too repetitive as there's different things to do rather than just buying items for travel agency and sorting customers. You take customers on flights to different destinations and play various minigames whilst there. The only complaint I would have is that there's only 3 travel agencies to play, which makes the game rather short..it would have been nice if after getting all 24 service awards (achievements) for the other 3 agencies (8 each) it unlocked a bonus travel agency or something along those lines. Apart from that would recommend highly for anyone wanting something fun and easy to pass the time.

Fruit's Inc
 –

Soooooo boring

Runs slow at high graphics which for such a simple game from 2011 is ridiculous. Apart from that tried the demo, and couldn't find anything to recommend it..go paint a patch on a wall and watch it dry..it will be far more exciting than this game.

Sally's Spa
 –

Okay but..

Gets very repetitive, doing the same thing, clicking the same routines throughout with no variation apart from it gets harder and harder to meet goals and earn money which means you're stuck as you can never earn enough money to get more upgrades. All in all gets old and tired pretty fast. It's okay for a quick diversion.

Sally's Studio Premium Edition
 –

Better than other Sally games

More varied content, gives you bonus shop and assistants to 'hire' who will take care of some of the tasks for you and achievements/medals to unlock but which don't add to the game in any way. The lack of story driven content means it starts to get boring pretty fast as you're just repeating the same old and the locations don't really vary in any great way. A bit of fun but not entirely worth the price tag.

Heroes of Might & Magic V
 –

Still rocks after all this time

Hard to beat this one, and certainly is leap years ahead of the Might & Magic X with its heftier price tag and oh so boring content.

This has its story levels and also bonus content of individual missions you can go on and a Multiplayer option for online gaming. I bought this 4 years ago and will still dust it off and play through the campaigns everyone now and then. Point & click TBS at its best, shame they stopped porting the Heroes games to Mac after this one.

I run it on Yosemite with no problems.

Moai: Build Your Dream
 –

Fantastic

Can't recommend it highly enough for TM fans...they seem to have got everything right...not one single glitch/fault, the graphics/colours are lush, the gameplay immersive and varied so you never feel like you're just doing the same thing over and over, the difficulty levels/elements build nicely and there's a decent amount of strategy involved in getting the perfect score. What all games should be.

Amelie's Cafe
 –

Demo only but..

...found I'd had enough after the demo...boring and repetitive, not enough variety and nothing in the way of story or interacting to want to keep you engaged. As a time management game there weren't enough elements to give it a bit of variety.

Mystic Inn
 –

Downloaded demo and twice

Downloaded it and installed it twice and it still says there's an error running the demo, file can't be found...give up...certainly not going to pay 15$ for it!

Be Richer
 –

Demo only...but

Only downloaded and tried the demo but had enough of it after half an hour. The buildings, decorations etc are really limited and even the goals don't really seem very inspired...tedious in the extreme and not alleviated by sandbox mode either...yawn..

The Book of Desires
 –

Dull, short but cheap

Okay firstly for .69 you can't really complain, it's a diverting hour or so....the HO scenes whilst nicely drawn can't really make up for the fact that this is a really short game, can understand why they've reduced it so extensively it would be hard to see how they could expect more than a couple of dollars for this one...ultimately you just feel like you're going back and forth all the time doing the same things, there are no suprises but a lot of tedium. Zero replayability, can't say i recommend it.
