Good game

A good HO puzzle game to begin a new series. I found it grew on me as I progressed and I bought the sequel on the strength of this game! Story good.

Tried the first game in which we meet our heroine and enjoyed it, this one follows on with the story and the puzzles don't disappoint either.

Haunted Legends: The Dark Wishes

Buy this version

This game is great - scary and disturbing part way through but in all honesty - don't bother to buy the CE version as the bonus game is a waste of time. Starts well then ends plop without any real point achieved.

Great but

Played this game and it really is great, nasty twist in the middle and the puzzles are good but the bonus game lets it down. After a great promise of "rid Florence of the philosophers stone etc"but the bonus game isn't that at all and frankly I felt cheated. Good proper game tho'

Haunted Manor: Painted Beauties

Long and worth every penny

A long story which has many challenges. it does not skip or shorten any part of the story and one thing i liked is that you fail in one part and learn from it as part of the story, as though the gamer is not perfect!

Surface: Game of Gods

Fun but weird

This is a different type of story for a HO - good puzzles but a shallow storyline. I enjoyed it and would play it again but I didn't get INTO the story which makes me glad I didn't buy the CE version.

I bought this because there is a character who seems to run through these stories as your adversary and you can't resist trying to deal with him.. also good puzzles and storyline if a little too imaginative..

Living Legends: Wrath of the Beast Collector's Edition

Wanted to like it

Oh dear. Same old same old. Only difference is you play as a male not an eponymus princess or detective. Part way through I was bored. There are no challenges to the HO games and everything you want for a scene is in that scene, there is no chasing from scenes to complete a puzzle which adds an edge.

Dark Parables: The Little Mermaid and the Purple Tide Collector's Edition

Good as ever

Great as the rest of this series (this is number 8 I believe) with good puzzles and story. One thing there can be a glitch in chapter 5 but it IS fixable. read through Big Fish forum on this game to find it. I will put this in the discussion loop too... but it's a good game. I fixed it and finished it! please give it a try

League of Light: Wicked Harvest Collector's Edition

Brilliant

I rarely go brilliant about a game - but this has a great story and game as well as a good bonus story. Warning though - if you do buy the non CE version the story ends VERY abruptly as it continues in the bonus!

Another good grim

I have played all this series and it's good. If I have one critism it's that after a good adventure the ending is abrupt and silly. I expected a better ending than solve great puzzle then ...."baddy defeated"... :(
