Sid Meier's Civilization V

Im not a huge fan of the civilization series, but the games and the dlcs are certainly worth trying. The games (V and VI) dont have much variety in gameplay and the different leaders dont differ much from each other, yet they are still very well designed games.

Essential. Like all eu4 expansions it gives some nations more mechanics and mission trees while also granting all other nations some minor changes/improvements.

One of the best strategy games out there. Each race has several unique lords that all grant the player unique gameplay experience with their unique mechanics and stats. The replayability is not as high as with some other titles, but the game makes up for it with its focus on quality over guantity. However it is very expensive with many expensive dlcs so I would recommend buying the game on sale
