Hearts of Iron IV: Man the Guns
 –

It's alright.

The naval designer is fun at first, but in retrospect, it doesn't really add that much to the game. Naval, in general, is not something you pay that much attention to, at least compared to land battles, so a designer for it doesn't really make much of a difference besides it being fun designing your own battleships. The added focus trees are fun though.
Overall, it just isn't worth 20€, and I'd only recommend buying it on sale unless you really like naval combat.

Hearts of Iron IV: By Blood Alone
 –

Ok

I like the aircraft designer, but I wish air combat was made more visual or interactive. Similar to naval combat, I find myself not really paying all that much attention to what exactly my planes are doing. It takes away from the enjoyment of designing because it feels like I'm not really making an impact with my planes regardless of their design. The Italian focus tree is pretty fun, and the Ethiopian and Swiss trees look alright too. But other than that, it doesn't really add that much, especially for 20€.

Hearts of Iron IV: No Step Back
 –

Great DLC

The tank designer adds a lot of customizability to your tanks, and I've found myself using it the most of all of the designers, the focus trees are also fun even though I haven't used them much.

Hearts of Iron IV - Starter Edition
 –

Mastapiece

I have over 400 hours of playtime in HoI4, which by HoI4 standards is not actually that much, but it does speak volumes over the sheer replayability and depth this game has. It has a steep learning curve, its tutorial is not really helpful at all for new players, and most of the DLC for the game is overpriced for what they offer. But for all its faults, once you get the hang of it, HoI4 is one of the best grand strategy games I've ever played.

Stellaris: Apocalypse
 –

Great, but too expensive.

Stellaris: Apocalypse only adds a handful of fun mechanics to mess with. Planet-Killers are cool and all, but I find myself only ever using them in a roleplaying perspective. What it offers really isn't worth almost 20€. I'd only recommend Apocalypse on sale, unless you're dead set on roleplaying as the Empire.

Stellaris: Leviathans Story Pack
 –

It's pretty decent.

It adds flavor, but isn't a must have. Enclaves are pretty useful, the Leviathans add something to do in the midgame, and I do enjoy the spectacle of the War In Heaven.
I'd only really recommend it on sale.

Stellaris: Utopia
 –

Gotta have it.

Stellaris: Utopia adds so much to the game. Megastructures, Hive minds, Ascension Perks, all of which has made the game much more enjoyable. Some of the best mods have come from this DLC. I genuinely could not imagine playing the base game without it.
