Very nice DLC

An enjoyable expansion to CKII which still holds up even after the release of CKIII.

![]() | – Not necessary but enjoyable
This DLC is mostly a visual pack. It does not include any new game mechanics but provides the visual counterpart to the regular Horse Lords dlc. I enjoyed the portraits most and don't regret the purchase. by MatV, Belgium - Nov 7th 2019

![]() | – Absolutely essential
Way of Life DLC adds character focuses. Translation: an incredible amount of events and flavour to enhance your roleplaying experience. If I had to pick one DLC that could be called "essential", this would be it. by MatV, Belgium - Jul 13th 2019

![]() | – Nomads and khagans
This dlc adds a new style of rulers: nomads ruled by khagans. They rule over their territory with their migrating herds and have limited building options. They are incredibly strong though, and most importantly they are incredibly fun to play. by MatV, Belgium - Jul 10th 2019

![]() | – Space Empire Inc.
Instead of a traditional empire, this dlc allows you to conquer the galaxy as a megacorporation. Unique civics, wonders, and perks let you add a ton of flavour to your playthrough. The dlc mostly focuses on megacorps but does include mechanics (mostly perks) accessible to regular empires. by MatV, Belgium - Jul 9th 2019

![]() | – The expansion we've been waiting for
CKII has had a rocky DLC policy despite it being over 7 years the game originally released. We went from small dlc and hyperfragmented microtransactions, to bigger dlc with optional content packs, to the dlc we get today: a big expansion all rolled into one purchase (music aside). Holy Fury revamps the pagan religions, adds bloodlines, warrior lodges, etc. The reworked pagan religions and the ability to customize your pagan religion through reformation, this alone adds hundreds of hours of gameplay. I'm honestly extremely satisfied with this dlc. This is how it should have been from day one. Great stuff. by MatV, Belgium - May 22nd 2019
