Crusader Kings II: The Republic

Interesting style of gameplay*****

It is very nice to be able to play as a dynasty of merchant cities instead of just a dynasty. What a bargain!

Stellaris: Distant Stars Story Pack

Decent expansion pack, good price*****

Not needed by any means, but does add a couple nice mechanics and plenty of flavor to the game. Worth it for fans and casual players, but I'd recommend waiting on a sale.

This DLC adds a lot, especially for the Indian subcontinent but many mechanics also greatly enrich the game experience as a whole.

Doesnt add much to the game except from a narrative point. Not really worth it to me but others may enjoy. Preferably buy it on a sale.

Some of these features should be included in the patch, this is a very poor DLC model, only buy this on sale or if someone gifts it to you.

Pretty nice Defense type game, just watch out for the DLC practices, they are worth it on a VERY deep sale

Stellaris: Apocalypse

Much needed overhaul*****

This DLC and the patch it comes with (2.0) were a big step forward for Stellaris, and in addition not too many features are gated behind a paywall, DLC is worth it on sale or not.

Mount & Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest Reforged Edition

Decent, could have used more features*****

Worth buying just on the fact they didn't just cash in on the viking craze and drop the DLC after that, it was a mess on launch. There are better mods out there but this one still has some charms of its own, or pick it up full price is you want a introduction into the potential that the Warband engine has.
Recommend getting on sale. If you are big fan of this time period, check the mod Brytenwalda out.

Great value and modding community*****

Don't let the graphics turn you off, this game is worth it at any price, the modding community is fantastic and rivaled only by a few others,some people will say to play the game unmodded first and I mostly agree outside of a few minor mods like Diplomacy and battle sizer for larger battles. Making the game even better, you don't have to have a top of the line PC to enjoy it,can't wait for Bannerlord, and remember there is a mob for everyone for this game,Praise King Harlaus and long may he feast!

Features locked behind a paywall again with the DLC content being pointless fluff while the base game and AI especially still have significant issues. Wait for a big sale or pass.

Expands the middle east area greatly, if you have no interest in playing there, pick this one up a at a deep discount, if you are interested in the region, a must buy, even if the price is too much.

Essential for certain mods, and all negative features can be toggled off now*****

Pick it up on sale, the game is patched so now you can toggle off conclaves worst features, and get access to newer mods.
