Cosmetic Bump
The content pack adds some nice cosmetics to capture the city centre feel most of us probably experience, which is appreciated for a more varied game though doesn't change gameplay at all.

– Small additions adding upA decent set of additions similar to previous DLC packs, improving a few areas for greater variety by bills6693, United Kingdom - Sep 20th 2022

– Iconic city centrepiecesBridges make a stunning centrepiece to most cites as focal points along rivers and harbours, so some visual flash to help them fit with your theme is a good addition by bills6693, United Kingdom - Sep 20th 2022

– Transit EnhancementTransit options that enhance the ability for you to move people around your cities with better style and and function by bills6693, United Kingdom - Sep 20th 2022

– Expanding PosessionsOverlord expands upon the vassalisation system and possession of subject empires to make it a far more engaging and interesting system allowing for networks of diplomatically interconnected empires and power blocks not previously in the game. The hyperspace relays are also game changing for infrastructure and warfare and a nice addition to the game. by bills6693, United Kingdom - Aug 29th 2022

– Continued improvementBuilding on KSP's already considerable base, this expansion continues to add new parts and options which are always a welcome addition to the massive sandbox. by bills6693, United Kingdom - Dec 23rd 2021

– UnderwhelmingThe highlight of this expansion was to 'become the crisis' but this system seems a little underwhelming. By the time you get there you're probably steamrolling. It comes with unique ship types (menacing corvette/destroyer/cruisers) but these use the pirate models which look very out of place as a proper, advanced empire - you'd expect them to have a new ship set or at least use your normal one with highlights. They also use minerals which seems useful but by the time you get to them (3 ascension perks plus) you have tooled you your economy for alloys which suddenly becomes almost useless. The update is decent but the DLC's main feature is not. by bills6693, United Kingdom - May 31st 2021

– Interesting themeThe Lynx clan has interesting mechanics based around killing wolves/bears and summoning mythical animals to kill. However they are a very military focused clan and have little in the way of economic or other bonuses, making them difficult to play peacefully. by bills6693, United Kingdom - Mar 19th 2021

– Unique ClanA very unique clan which really changes up the way the game plays, focusing on coastal tiles over inland tiles, getting all sorts of different bonuses. A really nice change of pace. by bills6693, United Kingdom - Oct 29th 2020

– Interesting new speciesNew portraits, ship sets etc are good very good, but the best bit is the new mechanics associated with the lithoids, eating minerals and having a few new traits etc. by bills6693, United Kingdom - Oct 29th 2020

– New great contentLots of new content based around federations, plus some good new origins. A very worthwhile DLC. by bills6693, United Kingdom - Oct 29th 2020

– Interesting twistAn interesting DLC clan with a unique twist where the warchiefs (yes, 2) can mine and forge as well as fight - but villagers can't. Means your warchiefs are useful when not fighting and you can have them mine without dipping your other villager's production. Can be quite useful and certainly a change to the play style. by bills6693, United Kingdom - Jun 29th 2019

– Solid base but lacking featuresA solid base game for paradox to expand upon but, although everyone knows its going to receive a lot of DLC and free updates in the future, it seems like when there are such well evolved games like EU4 and CK2 already there it feel extremely lacking in features. Looking forward to seeing where it goes from here though! by bills6693, United Kingdom - May 31st 2019

– Fun little game, neat aiming mechanicThis game has a fun concept with turn-based combat, and the key feature is manual aiming of shots with rebounds etc. Beyond that its not too deep by bills6693, United Kingdom - Apr 24th 2019

– Great clan, unique playstyleThis clan adds a very unique playstyle to the game, with the ability to rapidly expand by using civilians to clear out wolves and even drauger (in enough numbers) before building any military units. The reliance on Thralls (mainly for sacrifice) means you need to keep upping your gold production to keep buying more unless you can capture them in fighting. Overall a really unique clan and a great addition to the game at a good cost! by bills6693, United Kingdom - Apr 24th 2019

– More flexibility and contentA nice DLC that adds missions, extra content/components for your rocketeering needs, and nice visual customisation too. Still pales compared to the additions of mods but a nice bit of extra content and supports the developers too. by bills6693, United Kingdom - Dec 31st 2018

– Small, lite tactics at an excellent levelThis game has a tight focus which serves it really well. Its management is light and serves just to give a little progression for your units as you fight island to island. It is a game that rewards taking risks - as long as you can make them pay off and don't overstretch. Your 3 unit types have amazing synergy with each other - any combination of 2 or 3 of them, of 2 of the same unit, etc all make for very different tactics and approaches to consider when fighting. And as the campaign progresses it doesn't lose focus and keeps you engaged the whole way through. Very highly recommended! by bills6693, United Kingdom - Dec 31st 2018

– Tactics and management funGreat game featuring (as expected) giant mechs fighting it out against each other. Manage multiple considerations as you try to pummel the enemy into dust and then play the management game to bring your soldiers to the next fight, coping with injuries and battle damage. A few issues exist with the campaign, namely that the story missions are unbalanced (the rewards are astronomically high compared to normal missions), there's no reason to bring smaller mechs along when bigger ones are available, and the loop can get a little easy, although DLC may bring some fixes to this. by bills6693, United Kingdom - Dec 31st 2018

– Fun park customisationSmall but fun addition which brings to life the city parks that were missing before. Whilst I didn't find the nature reserves, zoos or theme parks as great (although they're still fun to add for sure), the city parks add an element that seemed to be missing before - no longer does your city have just a few plazas and huddles of trees, you can now build proper parks and gardens like you would find in most cities, larger blocks of land dedicated to the outdoors in the middle of your city. by bills6693, United Kingdom - Dec 31st 2018

– Small additions but doesn't add up to muchA few nice small additions but really doesn't add a huge amount to the game. Still worth picking up but certainly not a must-buy when you're looking at the Skylines DLC. by bills6693, United Kingdom - Dec 31st 2018
