The third instalment in the classic twin stick series. There are many new elements this time, the game feels fresh and it offers a great arcade experience. Recommended.

I enjoed playing this game it is defiantly one of my favorite games.

Enjoyable but complex with a high learning curve. Highly recommend you play the tutorial first before jumping in. A few minor bugs, and it's VERY hard to win. I wish it was more customizable, but it's certainly playable multiple times.

Mass Transit was definitely lacking in the base game. While it is a bummer that you have to buy DLC to get functionality that should have been in the base game, this does improve on A LOT of assets and areas to help your city spread. On the flip side, it helps Paradox continue to support and grow the game.

I LOVE Dead Island, so much I was skeptical about getting Dying Light even though it was from the same company. A zombie RPG is fantastic fun but I didn't know how well it would work in a city versus a moody tropical island.
Now I've played it and Dying Light is like Dead Island on steroids. Everything good is still there (except the ability to throw weapons which I miss) but there are also additions which really make it all the more fun. The parkour system is incredible! If you've ever wanted to play 'the floor is lava' with zombies, this is your game.
You can know build and repair items anywhere, not just at repair stations. You can fight humans as well as zombies. There's more to explore, more to do, more people to meet. An excellent upgrade in graphics too with a lot of nifty lighting effects.
It takes a heft rig to run this game, but it's worth it.
The DLC is a little silly, but the main game is solid!

Well, the game's surely enjoyable with some nice new features, but the resolution issue is extremely annoying and takes away a lot of the fun: the game field is normal sized, however, dialog boxes and resource information are tiny and extremely hard to read. And I don't wear glasses. So you lose precious seconds trying to decipher objectives (some only appear once you have solved other objectives). I hope they fix this issue soon, high resolution screens won't go away. Other than that, it is a nice addition to the series and I look forward to more installments.
