Crusader Kings III: Royal Edition
 –

Best Crusader Kings game

Crusader Kings 3 is a true successor to the critically acclaimed Crusader Kings 2. CK3 is the most polished game released by Paradox game so far and very playable in it's current state. The game has really nice 3D animations for all the in-game characters. A lot of the CK2 features have been brought to CK3 but some of them are still missing, like items.

I can recommend this game to anyone who played and like CK2. This is the new gold standard in grand strategy games! 5/5!

Europa Universalis IV: Emperor

Much needed update for Europe

This DLC adds a much needed update for the European part of the EU4 world. It overhauls the Empire mechanics of the base game to a much better state than the vanilla one. The papacy is also updated and modified as staying catholic wasn't that beneficial before but now is more beneficial.d.There are new disasters and rebellions. Also, blobbing in EU4 is much harder now with the governing capacity modifier. I can deeply recommend this DLC. 5/5.

Europa Universalis IV: Rule Britannia

DLC for the UK

This DLC isn't that great to be honest. The scope of the DLC is quite small but it does bring some nice updates still. The English mission tree is a great addition to the game as it one of the most comprehensive missions trees in the game (still in 2020). Inattentiveness is also nice flavor add-on to the game that the DLC brings but isn't a must-buy-thing thought. If you are a die hard EU4 fan, then I can recommend getting this DLC but in a sale thought.

Imperator: Rome - Magna Graecia Content Pack

Flavor for the base game that should have been there already

This DLC adds a much needed flavor for the base game. Things such as mission trees for Hellenic Greek powers and some in game events. To be honest, all these things should be a part of the base game and not sold as separately DLC. I would only buy this if you want to have the full I:R experience but otherwise it is not a essential DLC. Also, buy ut whilst it is on a sale.

Hearts of Iron IV: La Résistance

HOi4 - now with spies

This DLC adds a crucial elem,nt to HOi4 that was part of HOI3 - spies and espionage. You can now send spies and operatives to foreign countries to steal technology, spy on them and get intel. I think the DLC adds a new layer to the base HOI4 game that it was missing. Also, this DLC brings more flavor to MP matches when you can send spies to other player countries.

Good DLC for the base game

This is a good DLC for the base game as it ads new a lot for the axis powers. The HOI4 without any expansions or DLC is not that great and it sometimes feels that you need to buy these expansions to in order to have a playable game.

I would suggest purchasing the DLC when it is on sale.
